Morgen in Arcam: de opening van de tentoonstelling Speed Up Slow Down – Redesigning Amsterdam.
Te zien zijn de resultaten van zes intensieve Ontwerpstudio’s waarin zes hotspots in Amsterdam op de zijn onderzocht en waar zeer diverse ontwikkel scenario’s uit zijn gekomen. De zes waardevolle onderzoekslocaties zijn: het Oosterdok, Sloterdijk, Zuidoost, Hamerkwartier, IJburg II en de Zaanstraat.
Basic City was uitgenodigd voor de casus van het Hamerkwartier in Amsterdam Noord: https://www.arcam.nl/versnellenvertragen-verslag-ontwerpstudio-hamerkwartier/ We hebben een vruchtbare samenwerking gehad met de gemeente Amsterdam, VORM, Eigen Haard, Lingotto, maar ook met onze collega's van Arons en Gelauff, SeARCH, Studioninedots, WE en ZZDP.
Tomorrow the opening of the Speed Up Slow Down – Redisigning Amsterdam exhibition. It displays the results of the design studios tackling the future urban development of the six key Amsterdam districts: Oosterdok, Sloterdijk, Zuidoost, Hamerkwartier, IJburg II and Zaanstraat.

Great news! Basic city is selected as one of the participants for the matchmaking project in Ankara. The aim is to work together with young professionals from Turkey on the subject of good-quality public space and affordable (public) housing projects.

Today we presented our adaptable masterplan for the central area of Schiedam to the city government.
In collaboration with studio Komma and Felixx, we are working on the plan based on our 2 winning Europan proposals.
