We’re looking for a new Cocktail Consultant to join the Barrelproof team in Rotterdam.

This role is for an experienced bartender who has already built a career in cocktail making and is ready for the next step.

– Advising premium drinks brands & top hospitality venues
– Creating signature serves & new recipes
– Hosting trainings & workshops
– Running events & activations from start to finish

We’re looking for someone with proven bar experience, who is organized, professional, social and a real team player. A driver’s license is required.

This week at Gastvrij Rotterdam we parked our shakers at the Winterhalter stand and turned it into a cocktail playground. Crystal-clean glassware coming out faster than we can shake, bottles flowing with our pre-batched signatures and a steady line of thirsty hospitality pros testing “just one more” for quality control…

What an inspiring afternoon!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us last Friday for David Gluckman Talks Brands at Het Industriegebouw. It was incredible to see so many passionate brand creators, marketers and industry professionals come together for an afternoon of bold ideas, real stories and honest insights.

A special thanks to David Gluckman, who shared his unique perspective on brand creation—from the unlikely 45 minutes that led to Baileys Irish Cream to the lessons learned from ideas that didn’t make it. His unfiltered approach to branding is a true masterclass in thinking differently.

We’re also grateful to have hosted this event together with Independent Spirits, creating a space for knowledge-sharing and inspiration within the industry. And of course, shoutout to everyone who stayed after for a drink and some fresh Barrelproof Lab cocktails.

We had the pleasure of working on a special project for Chocomel, creating a series of inspiring serves where Chocomel took center stage. From indulgent alcoholic twists to delicious non-alcoholic options, we explored bold, fruity, savory and aromatic flavors for different moments and occasions.

Last Tuesday, we had the opportunity to present our flavor combinations at the FrieslandCampina headquarters, and the feedback was fantastic! We can’t wait to see the final results. A big thank you to the team at Chocomel for trusting us with this unique challenge—we loved bringing these creations to life.

Big shoutout to our colleague Chi Ho Ta, who had the honor of traveling all the way to Lviv for an incredible project—BEYOND TASTE—at the stunning MAD BAR’s HOUSE. 
Invited by the talented Artem Skapenko and the amazing team at MAD Lviv, he brought a taste of Rotterdam to Ukraine!
From hosting a masterclass on conceptualization in cocktail culture, flavor inspiration and sharing the story of Dr. Rotterdam, Chi Ho had an unforgettable experience connecting with the passionate local bartender scene. And, of course, he wrapped it all up with a kickass guest shift at DIDUH, shaking up some one-of-a-kind signature drinks, inspired by four different cuisines around the world and paired by four dishes by DIDUH bartender’s chef Vladimir Kondratiev, accompanied by MAD’s chef Igor Geriliv!🔥
