Dit verhaal is de aftrap van een zomers journalistiek onderzoek: Fiets vs. File. Praat mee!

Waternevel kan CO2 en NOx afvangen. Stadslab Luchtkwaliteit realiseert in de zomer van 2017 een sprayinstallatie langs de 's-Gravendijkwal, één van de meest vervuilde straten van Rotterdam, om deze iets schoner te maken. Samen met Atelier LEK zijn de eerste proeven uitgevoerd om de mist te verlichten met een boodschap: de kleur geeft straks ook luchtzuiverheid aan!

On the 19th of novembre 2015 the new trainstation in Anhem , was officially opened! This event marked the ending of 19 years of development and realisation of this extrodinary piece of architecture, designed by UN Studio. From 2007 on Atelier LEK has worked on the lighting for the public space of the station together with B+B landschapsarchitecten and under supervision of UN Studio. Very proud of the result, only made possible by the joint effort and cooperation of all party's involved!

The ambition of cemetery Crooswijk is to become a more accessible park for everyone to contemplate or just to wonder around. The openingshours will be extended to later in the evening. The question emerges: how to light a cemetery? A place which has been dark until now; where many different animals live also because of the darkness. Is lighting neccessary? If so, what kind of lighting? Atelier LEK is going to research these questions, starting with a lighting plan for the auditorium, a 'Rijksmonument'.
