Our Story

With the forty years’ experience in international sales, marketing and export promotion, Peter van de Sman early recognises the struggle of engineering companies to find the right partner in a foreign market. He was driven to fix this puzzle and consequently, in 2013 KommaTrade was born.

Www.kommatrade.com is a web-directory, a freely accessible search portal for the engineering industry and we call it an 'online exhibition'. In this virtual trade fair, you will find verified manufacturers which were audited, trained and coached by us. These companies are all producers of either castings, forgings, transmissions, hydraulics, pumps, equipment or tubes and fittings etc. from emerging markets. Our biggest mission when we set up Kommatrade was to boost a match between buyer and supplier. And that is still our biggest mission today.
