Francesca Bracelli is assisting the GYROTONIC® Specialized Course with Arsinoi Tsakalogianni at Narei Studio , GYROTONIC® Athens. This marks her second Specialized Course assistantship.

Module: Distraction

Today we continue another module of the 12-module Professional Teacher Development Program (PTDP) at the Systemic Life Academy®.

Teaching is not only about knowing what to do. It is about developing the ability to observe, think, decide, and act with clarity.

Today’s module focuses on Distraction—understanding how internal and external distractions influence observation, decision-making, communication, and professional performance.

A professional teacher learns to recognize distractions without allowing them to control the learning process. By strengthening awareness, discipline, and focus, we create better learning environments for ourselves and for those we teach.

Over the past years, research has increasingly explored the relationship between infections, the immune system, and Multiple Sclerosis. Epstein-Barr Virus is one of the most studied. Other microorganisms, including Streptococcus, are also being investigated for their potential role in immune dysregulation.

If we never investigate possible contributing factors, we may miss important pieces of the puzzle.

At the Systemic Life Center®, we believe in assessing before intervening.

Today we completed a full day of GYROTONIC® Master Classes hosted by RHYFLO Studio and Jungle Center in Taipei.

From individual mentoring and staff education to group master classes, it was a day filled with curiosity, meaningful questions, movement, and professional exchange. It was inspiring to work with teachers, dancers, and movement professionals who continue to invest in their education and deepen their understanding of movement.

Thank you to everyone who participated for your openness, energy, and commitment throughout the day. Professional development is built through continuous learning, observation, and the willingness to explore beyond techniques.

A very special thank you to Liv Wen-Hua Chen for bringing everything together so beautifully. Your dedication, organization, and care made this event possible, and I truly appreciate all the work you put in behind the scenes.
