The last week we are open we have the most pretty things - only organic flowers from the farmers that work their asses off on the hot fields 🔥

Im looking forward to my holidays but every summer I also feel somehow very sorry - because this is the time the MOST & the PRETTIEST flowers are here. Because it’s such a quite time in the city and thus in store; it’s the time I also have to take my time to rest.
But feeling so sorry for all the hard work of the growers these times ánd also some kind off FOMO for missing all that summer beauty 🌞

Some of yesterday’s weddingflowers for S & O. She is the daughter of a orchid grower and asked me to use some orchids in the wedding work. It was a first time working with orchids! And I guess I was able to merge them into our ‘Kore style’ 🌾

Gisteren waren Lisa (.tuinen ) en ik samen met andere bloemisten en bloementelers van Wilderful op werkbezoek bij bloemenkwekerij Kwekerij Op T Hof
Op t hof is sinds een aantal jaren omgeswitcht van reguliere bloementeelt naar biologische teelt. Het is een van de grootschaligste biologische kwekers van Nederland. Inspirerend om te zien hoe inventief Geert is, zelf machines en andere hulpmiddelen bedenkt als een echte willie wortel én mooi hoe hij samen met zijn vrouw deze grote kwekerij runt met veel aandacht en liefde voor de natuur.

Wilderful is een platform en collectief van bloemisten en kwekers, dat biologische, seizoensgebonden bloemen aanbiedt. Kore is de Rotterdamse Wilderful bloemist. 🌸

But: due to the heat we will open & close a little bit earlier this friday: 09.00 till 14.00. So we ánd the flowers can chill a little bit in the garden on the hottest hours.

ALSO: it’s hot and sunny which means, there are sooo many beautiful flowers coming from the field NOW - this is the moment.
So please don’t hesitate, come by, get yourself or sweet ones around you a few cuties to enjoy. The flowers are strong, come from the nearby fields and did not have to make a long travel to get here (and thus already 3/4 days old once they get to your homes). They’ve grown on the dutch sun, rain and wind and are very ready for you 💛🌸

A few weeks & months ago, has been collecting all the beautiful and tasty blossoms around town and further away at their food forest in Overijssel. the sweetest and most tasty syrups came out and now ~ for these very thirsty days ~ they are here!

Fluffy beard irisses!! Their here now, but guessing it will be their last week, almost saying goodbye, thanks for all ya beauty and hopefully see you next year again 🧡
