👹 Imposter syndrome is always just around the corner. And if it isn’t, I sometimes feel like I’ve gone into delusion instead.

And honestly I’d rather be delulu than in doubt 🙂‍↕️

It would be so helpful to have control over my hyperfocus. It takes a lot of anxiety before I get in the zone with drawing and sometimes it is over before it can even begin! 🥲 However when I start reorganizing my task system I can go for hours ignoring every physical need.

So for me it feels like both, a blessing and a curse, depending on when it kicks in 🫠 How does it feel like for you?

⏰ The experience of time is an interesting thing. I remember days where it felt like time was almost standing still, where a minute felt like an hour. Nowadays a minute feels like a second, in a good way. So much I want to do and so little time. Besides just being a generally slow person does not help 😂

How have you been experiencing time? 🏎️ or 🐌 and why?

😍 I love mixing traditional with digital, yet keeping that traditional feel. That’s why I am obsessed with . 99.99% of the time I will be working with their brushes and textures. In the third slide you can see the difference in character when there is no added texture.

Which version do you like best? With or without?

The upside of digital coloring is you can undo steps easily. However this can cause me to stay stuck in the coloring phase forever and pieces remain unfinished 💀 So I have started experimenting with giving myself 30 minutes to color and it is a gamechanger 🤩 Sometimes it can be so helpful to limit yourself wether it is with choices in color, drawing materials or in this case time.

100 drawings in 100 days! 🥳 Okay, so not all 100 are fully finished, BUT the goal is to draw every day, no matter the outcome. Now it would be awesome if I could always manage to do it first thing in the morning.. but going for progress, not perfection 🙃 As I am beyond excited with how many surprisingly awesome ideas came to life 😍 Originals will be for sale soon in my shop at Dagloos.com (or link in bio), as well as colored versions as art prints.

🤔 Found some blank artist trading cards while tidying up. There’s something about art this size 😍 Thinking of making more of these to sell. But so many ideas, so little time!
