New bench

Another table going to a new home

Bench made from a single piece of eipen wood with mitred corners so the grain in the wood is continuous.

This is the finished pedestal table in the shop and at its new home. Fun project. More pictures to come. Working on a Swedish style bench now photos will be soon.

Working on a single pedestal table. It will be 180 x 180 square top. All the detail work is hand carved and done with classic hand cut mortice/tenon and dove tail joinery. Lots of time on this piece.

If anyone is wondering about using sustainable products for furniture this is where we go... All locally cut logs from Holland from either trees that have blown down or people who want the trees taken away from their backyards... FSC (forest stewardship council) can't compete with these sustainable products.
