State’s Founder and Executive Creative Director Marcel Ziul, brings his artist talk Chaos to the In Motion stage.
“Chaos is a personal and unfiltered talk about navigating uncertainty in creative life. Through stories of ambition, burnout, failure and self-reflection, Marcel Ziul reframes chaos not as something to escape, but as the natural state of making meaningful work.”
Marcel Ziul began his career in Brazil. Traveling the country, he was lucky to work with the best local talent and clients. But in 2006, he felt he need to re-learn everything he knew and go for a full reset of his life and career.
After years of studio work, he moved to Los Angeles to built a studio himself. Since then, Ziul has been collaborating with major talents and clients worldwide. His commercial work includes bespoke projects for brands such as Google, NFL, Meta, ESPN, Electronic Arts, Amazon, FX, Netflix, UFC, Apple, Niks and others.
Today, Ziul channels his personal and professional journey into work that examines the realities of creative life.

🔵 CONFIRMED FOR LONDON: ROSIE TONKIN 🔵
Multi-disciplinary artist Rosie Tonkin makes the wildest film dreams come true. She works her magic across art direction, painting and model making, ranging in scale from intricate miniatures to lifelike animal sculptures.
After spending over a decade in art fabrication and prop making, creating work for artists, luxury fashion houses, museums and theater, Rosie moved into animation.
She worked on the advert for The Great British Bake Off with Mikey Please and Dan Ojari. Since then, she has collaborated on international campaigns, series and films such as Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared, BAFTA-winning BBC Women’s Euros 2025, Gorillaz and the BBC 2026 FIFA World Cup Trailer.
In 2022, she art directed BAFTA winning, Oscar-nominated short film Wander to Wonder, directed by Nina Gantz, and was Ffern resident artist in 2025.
In this interview, Rosie will tell us more about her material-specific problem solving and hands-on creative process.
