𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲

Last week we received valuable Juniper Networks
& Arista Networks hardware. It concerns one MX960 router and DC5-7508N Switch. This provides high performance, reliability, for our upgrade & range of service , and enterprise applications.

Two important parts of this are that we will have full on our racks and after all upgrades are finished a total network capacity of 5.6 Tbit/s. From mid-January, we'll start to release stock again.

𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲

We received a new shipment of 200 Hewlett Packard ProLiant DL360p Gen8 servers from our supplier Pio's Parts Lab.

New stock will be made available in late Q4 after we've finished our network upgrade.

𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲

Preparations for our new dark fiber have begun. Relined Fiber Network will upgrade our datacenter with a third dark fiber.

Yesterday preparations were made on two points, to pull the fiber under the tarmac. In the upcoming days, they'll start digging a trench from the Main-/handhole to our data center and pull an HDPE pipe through the trench. In a later stage, the dark fiber will be blown through the HDPE pipe and finally mounted in our server/patch room.

𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲

We know that having a good infrastructure is the heart of any business. By upgrading our data center with a new dark fiber by Relined Fiber Network in Q4 or late Q1 next year.

This advancement will deepen our already prominent and well-established role in the global data center industry. When it is completed, this new fiber-optic network creates more options for our data center with a direct connection to Amsterdam.

Will allow us for rapid and cost-effective deployment of higher capacities and connection to more peering partners.

DDoS attacks on applications (layer 7 attacks) like web servers are not uncommon. In order to filter out attacks based on the HTTP protocol, we operate separate DDoS filters which deal with the processing of HTTP requests. When activated, our Layer 7 DDoS filters act as a transparent reverse proxy, which validates every request between client and server without your intervention.
