page of the sail simulator project, running at the TU Delft, focusing on a high-performance sail training system "on the dry".

Developing and testing a high-performance dinghy with haptics, projection and wind simulation. Targeted at athletes, paralympics and sports engagement. The advantages of "sailing on the dry" are obvious in terms of tractic and skills training:
* Real environment is ever changing
* At present, lots of travelling around the world is necessary to get familiar with sail tracks.
* Need to replay races
