Project Sail Simulator

Developing and testing a high-performance dinghy with haptics, projection and wind simulation. Targeted at athletes, paralympics and sports engagement. The advantages of "sailing on the dry" are obvious in terms of tractic and skills training:
* Real environment is ever changing
* At present, lots of travelling around the world is necessary to get familiar with sail tracks.
* Need to replay races and to perform “what if” situations.
* Lowering the threshold to get familiar with competitive sailing. We engage a select group of students (undergrad and graduate level), while collaborating closely with the Dutch watersports federation.
