In Chinese medicine, too much fire in the body can blur clarity and overwhelm the heart. When emotions burn without release, they coil inward, shaping us from the inside out.
Make sure to release the fire once in a while or you’ll get burned 🔥

During the two-week Urban Blue artist-in-residence, a collaboration between and , I had the chance to explore the history of Delft Blue together with five other amazing artists from around the world: .id

Inspired by the Delft Blue story we each designed and created a tile panel that will only reveal its final blue tones after firing. The results will be shown next year, including some extra 3D objects, with an opening on March 7 at the Royal Delft Museum. I can’t wait to see the piece in blue!

I’m grateful I could bring my family, allowing me to continue my work while also being present as a mother. It was intense, but above all incredibly special that it was possible.
