Team Vortex - Cansat 2013
We are a group of 8 boys from St Paul's School in London representing the UK in ESA's 'Cansats in Europe' competition.
Design Team : Pranav Prabhu, Raphael Taylor-Davies, Louis De beaumont, James Brandreth and Luca Ciraolo Our Cansat's mission is to perform a guided landing, by deploying not a parachute (like most cansats) on release from the rocket (which will have flown the cansat 1000m into the air), but four propellers to slow the cansat's descent and to guide it into land.

Epic story of fixing the broken motor, low volume advised, Pranav got a bit excited when it was fixed!
