That moment you thought you were done with recording guitar parts, but then you realize you have to go back in and do it again.

With CableHouse Bluesband, everyday is harmonica day.

Sometimes things just all seem to come together at the right time and this recording session was certainly one of those moments.

We had 9 new songs that we wanted to record and after looking around for a studio we chose the Sofa Lounge Studio run by fellow musician, producer and all round nice guy John Frick. Turned out to be an excellent choice.
Sometimes studios can be a bit intimidating, not so the Sofa Lounge. John really made us feel at home. The vibe was relaxed but with a certain creative tension in the air that really spurred us on to work hard and do our best to make the project a success. John’s feedback and ideas were really crucial to the process.

After 3 full days of hard work (and a bit of fun) all the tracks and overdubs were done. Time for John to work his magic behind the mixing desk.
The first rough mixes are already sounding great! Can’t wait to hear the finished product.
