The ManGo Product Design team swapped 3D CAD for clubs and SolidWorks for sand traps.

With questionable swings and one golf ball still missing in action our teambuilding day was a hole-in-one for fun.

Now it's back to designing world-class products… but with slightly more sunburn and a mysterious grass stain or two.

From Prototypes to Plates: ManGo’s Ultimate Cook-Off! 🍽️🔥

Last week, we traded in our sketchbooks for spatulas and our CAD models for cutting boards. Five teams, five culinary challenges, and one epic night of flavors, fun, and slightly questionable kitchen techniques.

From Chinese dragons and tea ceremonies to Vietnamese street food, South African curries and French haute cuisine, our designers proved that creativity isn’t limited to product development - it also thrives in the kitchen (though some dishes were definitely experimental prototypes 😅).

A huge thank you to our amazing team for the passion, teamwork, and questionable apron fashion choices. And of course, congratulations to Team China for taking home the win! 🏆🎉 Your dumplings and synchronized dragon dance were simply unbeatable.

Kids & Partners take over ManGo Product Design

Last Friday, we hosted a special company BBQ at ManGo Product Design, welcoming the partners, wives and kids of our team members. The goal? Of course to have fun but also to show them what we do day-to-day – and it turns out, the kids may have a future in product design!

From sketching creative inventions like flying beds and robot dogs that make sandwiches (we’re definitely taking notes), to 3D printing their wild ideas, the kids had a blast. Partners and wives were equally curious, asking questions like, "Wait, is this what you do all day?"

The highlight? A bouncing castle! Because every design studio needs one... strictly for research, of course.

It was an evening filled with creativity, laughter, and possibly a few future designers in the making. We might have some new recruits – though they’ll need to finish primary school first!

Taking the Leap: Product Design & Wipeout Edition

At ManGo Product Design, we know that diving into a new product idea can sometimes feel like taking a leap of faith. So, what better way to understand our clients' brave decisions than by taking some literal leaps ourselves?
Last week, our team traded our design tools for some sporty shoes and headed to a wipeout track. And let’s just say, we experienced firsthand what it means to trust the process (and the air cushions)!

From wobbling on giant inflatable obstacles to epic splashes in the water, our adventure was the perfect mix of fun and teamwork. Much like in product design, there were moments of doubt, a few unexpected twists, and plenty of laughs along the way.

Here are a few things we learned:

Teamwork!!! – Whether it’s designing a revolutionary product or conquering a slippery slope, collaboration is key.

Every fall is a lesson – Just like a prototype that doesn’t quite work out, each tumble taught us something new and made us more resilient.

Celebrate the wins – Every successful leap (or hilarious wipeout) was a reminder to celebrate milestones, no matter how small.

So, to all our clients out there, thank you for trusting us with your leaps of faith. We promise to catch you every step of the way... and if we can survive the wipeout track, we can handle anything! Happy holidays!

Last week, Team ManGo unleashed their inner warriors and bowling pros at our employee outing! With laser guns in one hand and bowling balls in the other, we navigated through the battlefields of laser tag and the lanes of the bowling alley with unmatched finesse (and occasional clumsiness)! 😂

Who knew our designers could dodge lasers with the same agility they use to dodge design critiques?

Despite some questionable strategies (looking at you, hiding behind the smallest obstacle in laser tag), we emerged victorious in both games - and as always, strengthened our team bond along the way! 💪🏼

Once a year our ManGo monistary turns into a fancy restaurtant for our New Years meets X-mas mashup employee dinner contest. The 2024 edition was marvelous with heaps of fun, outdoor cooking, fresh camel milk, campfires and more exciting and creative twists. A perfect start of the new year!

Summer team outing! Old fashioned style Solex tour in combination with visiting a Trappist beer brewery and a BBQ to top it all off!

We love our team outings! Especially the ones which stimulate all our senses! Ice karting is definitely one of those things which gets our blood pumping, just enough to keep our toes from freezing off ;-)

Je bent een pro met Solidworks en je hebt goede communicatieve schetsvaardigheden. Daarnaast voel je je comfortabel met Adobe en Keyshot.

Tijdens je stageperiode, ben je betrokken in de verschillende fases van diverse innovatieve projecten. Denk aan onderzoek, prototyping, testen, team brainstorms, concept design, presentaties en verdere ontwikkeling. Je krijgt goede begeleiding naar aanleiding van je leerdoelen en bent écht onderdeel van het ontwerpteam.
