Glider pilots of Ukraine contact all pilots of the world. We are a peace-loving nation, we are developing sports in our country, but now our homeland is in trouble.

Please support us and spread this information as much as possible among the gliding and other communities.

02/24/2022 at 3:40 am, Russia launched rocket attacks on Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, a number of regional centers and did the same in the zone of the Joint Forces Operation (Donbas). Russia also launched a land operation and an operation of naval forces near the Odesa and Kherson regions. There are lots of local landings of Russian troops all over Ukraine. The Ukrainian army is currently fighting fierce battles along the entire front.
To prevent surrendering to Russia, Ukraine calls on all the international communities, businesses, governmental institutions and politicians to oppose the Kremlin aggression, support democratic and peaceful Ukraine that has never started any military operations against sovereign states.
Today, peace in the world depends not only on the Ukrainian army, but also on actions of all other democratic counties. It is time to choose whether the most horrifying war of the 21st century started by Russia will stop and all civilized countries will be able to continue their democratic path.
Do not believe the Kremlin propaganda or any other Russian sources, as they manipulate by imposing the image of "Nazi-Ukraine" on their citizens and the whole world. They are trying to assure everyone that occupation is a gesture of help for the Russian people in Ukraine — but it's an absolute lie.
President Putin has shown his true face by declaring a war against peaceful Ukraine and its people. It's a war declared for the whole Europe!

What you can do:
🔸Go to the Russian Embassies in your countries and demand an end to the war.
🔸Call on your governments to help Ukraine.
🔸Write posts on social networks in support of Ukraine. Disseminate information only from official Ukrainian sources.
🔸DO NOT disseminate information to the Russian media and government structures.
🔸Call on your partners and acquaintances to support the Ukrainian army.
🔸Where possible, help Ukrainian refugees and those who have been forced to stay abroad due to the start of hostilities.
Please be active and act quickly: the future of a democratic Europe is being decided now.

Due to personal circumstances we are selling our beautiful and beloved Kranich II.

The Kranich II is one of the rarest vintage two-seat gliders. During World War II the Kranich was the most widely used two-seater. About 2,500 were built, yet only six or seven survive in airworthy state, with about ten more are in museums or in storage. Our Kranich is a flying piece of history.

Our Kranich is airworthy and eager to fly. She is an absolute joy to fly, as many have had the chance to experience during the may VGC Rallies we participated in.

She comes with:

- closed and insulated trailer purpose built by Schofield
- hydraulic jack for mounting jettisonable undercarriage which can also be used as hangar dolly
- original instruments
- Flarm
- two parachutes (Softie)
