Clothes have everything to do with our identity. Clothes help us communicate to others who we are (or who we want to be). Clothes are our chosen skin.
But often we focus way too much on the appearance: colors, shapes, trends, brands.
How about we add our values to the mix? How about we add the invisible parts of our identity to our otfits?
How about we choose to be forward-thinking?
How about we stop supporting fast fashion industry with our wallets?
How about we decide not to give into temptation of buying something new and wait until we find something similar secondhand?
We need a revolution of values. When it comes to clothing, there are many ways we can change the narrative:
1. Use what you have longer and learn to take care of your clothes
2. Try borrowing clothes (you are welcome to visit Outfit Library LESS this week on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at ROZET)
3. Research the swapping opportunities in your area
4. Buy second-hand and vintage instead of new! There is enough clothes produced today to dress 6 future generations π€―
5. Repair, remake or make clothes yourself instead of shopping
6. When nothing else works, buy fair-trade, invest in quality, buy something you would wear at least 30 times.
7. Educate yourself! Would you like to know more about all the alternatives to fast fashion, consider joining our Book and Film club at Rozet.
We need a revolution of values. Let's start today!

Let me tell you more about Rozet x Outfit Library LESS collaboration project called "Book & Film Club"
When you want to make better choices (no matter the topic), it can be difficult to navigate through all the information available out there.
You might not know where to start, how to tell a good source from a mediocre one, how to avoid greenwashing and fake news, how to turn all the newly acquired knowledge into real life solutions and how to not give up your good intentions once it gets challenging to follow them through.
In 2023 Rozet and Outfit Library LESS are inviting you to join a year-long programme to learn the most important things about sustainable fashion, clothes and textiles.
The book club setting will allow us to mix theory with practice, discuss the books we've read and documentaries we've seen, but most importantly - share our experiences, struggles, questions, doubts and successes.
You can join us per event (the tickets cost β¬7.5 for Rozet card holders and OLL clients and β¬10 for everyone else) or purchase the whole year participation (10 events) for just β¬50 (find the ticket links in the comments).
When you buy a whole year access, we will be sending you the summary of the most important tips, recommendations, lifehacks and ideas discussed during every meeting, so even if you miss an event, you will not miss its highlights.
The very first event - "The True Cost" documentary screening - will take place already this Wednesday. We hope to see you there!

β»οΈ "Swapping a garment instead of buying new extends its life on everage by 2.2 years, which reduces its carbon, waste and water footprint by 73%" (Patagonia 2020)
After our incredibly successful event in October, so many of you asked if there would be another SWAP soon. So, together with our incredible partner we did our best to organize one just in time before all the festivities! π₯³
Please join our December SWAP Party on Sunday, 18 December 2022 between 13:00 and 15:30 at Rozet (the 5th floor).
As always, Outfit Library LESS takes care of the initial swap collection: we always make sure there is hanging enough clothes even for the very first visitors to browse through.
π Our golden rules remain the same:
1οΈβ£ We accept clothes, shoes and bags (both for women and men, in all sizes) ONLY in a VERY GOOD CONDITION:
β
washed
β no broken zippers or missing buttons, etc.
β no pet hair
β no washed out fabrics
β no nasty smells
If you have been at our SWAP events before, you know we are very strict about this rule, because we believe that swapping clothes should not only be accessible, but also pleasant, comfortable and fun. So, let's respect our clothes and let's respect each other! π
2οΈβ£ For every accepted item you receive 1 SWAP point. We give maximum 10 SWAP points per person per event (you may bring more items, but you get max. 10 points anyway). Do you have points over from our previous SWAP events? Great, you can use them during this edition as well!
3οΈβ£ For every swapped item we are charging β¬1 fee. So, if you found 3 items to swap, you pay β¬3; found 10 items to swap, you pay β¬10; found nothing, you don't pay anything.
4οΈβ£ All clothing items that will be over after the event will be carefully sorted and donated to the following causes/organizations:
β€ Ukranian refugees in Arnhem
β€
β€
Please help us spread the word about this event, so as many people as possible can enjoy this eco-positive, guilt-free and budget-friendly experience!
P.S. To not loose time waiting in line on Sunday, you can bring your swap-items in advance: on Friday and Saturday (16-17 Dec.) during the clothing library pop-up!

Tomorrow and Saturday (18-19.11) the pop-up clothing library is taking place again. With this edition I would like to invite you to open the celebration season!
More and more this year I feel the urgency to celebrate: being alive, being loved, being healthy, having friends.
So, let's bring out all those shiny dresses, glittery jumpsuits, cozy sweaters, colorful blouses and comfy pants to celebrate big and small things in life!
Feel free to share what in your life is worth to be celebrated on right now!
Love, Maria π

Like many of you, I (finally!) watched De Prijsknaller about what happens to the clothes we throw away. And like most of you, I was shocked. And sad. And angry.
You can know a lot, read a lot, do a lot, but seeing the footage of what you know only from the theory is completely different story... I can't even imagine seeing it with my own eyes. How heartbreaking this must be. Let alone having to live in the middle of it.
But there are things we can do to fight the fast fashion monster, even though these things are tiny on the global scale. Please read the post of to get some inspiration and follow people and initiatives who are sharing their journey towards more fair and more sustainable clothing industry.
This week on Friday and Saturday you can borrow clothes at our pop-up clothing library Outfit Library LESS at Rozet in Arnhem.
All the beauties in our collection are preowned, no exceptions. Chosen piece by piece with love and attention. Washed, steamed and often fixed. Representing a wide range of sizes (34-54) and all possible styles.
We invite you to borrow your favorite items (beginning with just β¬5 p.p.) or buy the ones you are going to enjoy and wear at least 40 times. You can also bring your own clothes that need to be repaired: we always try to find a creative solution for every piece.
You can also just come and take a look: see for yourself how many amazing items we've rescued. All of them became unwanted, they have been donated, given and even thrown away.
There is enough clothes produced already to dress 8 (!!!) future generations. So, please, let's use what already exists instead of facilitating more overproduction and overconsumption.
See you this Friday (18.02) between 09:00 and 22:00 and this Saturday (19.02) between 8:30 and 16:30 at on the 5th floor.
Love, Maria

Yesterday during my volunteer work shift at my colleagues have noticed that I painted my nails π
"What's next?" - they asked. "Will we see you next week as a blond with fake eyelashes?"
Who knows, who knows... A week without a physical store did a lot of wonders already. I did not only paint my nails, but also borrowed something from the collection of Outfit Library LESS π
I've also decided to celebrate my birthday for the first time in 10 years. So, day 1/4 - DONE!
P.S. But what's definitely gonna happen next week is a February edition of the pop-up clothing library at
Come check it out on Friday, 18 February, between 09:00 and 20:00 and Saturday, 19 February, between 09:00 and 17:00 π
