Rocket Bean has been a familiar name in the Baltic coffee scene for many years. Known for their playful approach and dedication to quality, they have become one of the region's most beloved face for specialty coffee.
You may have seen them dressed as the coffee police during last World of Coffee shows. Dressed in uniform and always on patrol, they're on a mission to arrest anyone caught without adequate caffeine levels. We had the fun of hosting Rocket Bean during World of Coffee Copenhagen 2024, and we're excited to welcome them back to the booth in Brussels.
This time, Kristaps is bringing one of our favourite annual lots: the Honey Process from Tesfaye Bekele's Suke Quto farm in Ethiopia. A coffee we look forward to every year for its vibrant fruit character and unmistakable sweetness. The coffee will be served both as a hand brew and as a refreshing cold brew.

Known for sourcing, roasting, and serving some of the finest coffees in Europe, they continue to combine exceptional quality with an unhinged sense of fun that has become unmistakably .
Over the years, we've had the pleasure of sharing some great moments together. From traveling through Ethiopia with Bob and Dylan to previous takeovers and events. We're excited to welcome them back to our booth in Brussels.
This time, they're bringing something new from our lists: a Uganda Natural lot. As Friedhats puts it, they've been "eyeing the origin for years, waiting for the right coffee to come along. After several promising lots never quite materialized, they can finally dust off the Uganda label and share a coffee that convinced them it was worth the wait."
Besides coffee, we'll probably hand out some cold Ethiopian Habesha beers.

Over the past few years, we've had the pleasure of traveling to origin alongside Bocca Head Roaster, Ernest. Together, we've explored various coffee-producing origins from Ethiopia's highlands to Brazil's Sul de Minas.
To mark this remarkable anniversary, Bocca decided to bring something special from a different origin: Colombia. Ernest and Denis will be serving an exceptional Geisha Washed Long Fermentation microlot from Huver Castillo.

In March, we travelled to San Ignacio to visit research center and witness firsthand the work being done together with
Among experimental plots of coffee varieties, we saw a shared ambition: helping farmers adapt to a changing climate while safeguarding the future of Peruvian coffee. The scale of the project and the commitment from both Cenfro and WCR left a lasting impression.
Now we're bringing a piece of that research to Brussels.
Together, we'll cup a selection of seven coffee varieties from the San Ignacio research site, offering a rare opportunity to taste and compare coffees that may help shape the future of Peruvian coffee production.
Expect a conversation about genetics, resilience, cup quality, and the role research can play in securing the future of coffee.

has been at the forefront of specialty coffee in Germany's Ruhr region for more than a decade. The family-run roastery helped shape a coffee culture that now stretches far beyond Dortmund, combining curiosity, quality, and a deep connection to origin.
Last December, we travelled through Ethiopia together with co-founder Benedikt. While his coffee buying journey had consistently brought him to Gedeb in the Yirgacheffe zone, this trip offered the opportunity to explore Ethiopia's southern coffee regions in person. Walking farms, visiting washing stations, and the coffee communities turned into one of the highlights of the season.
Bene and Marco will be brewing a selection of favourites, including a lot from the Operation Cherry Red Smallholder Series and the famous Kenyan station Kii. Expect great coffees, stories from the road, and a chance to meet one of the roasters that helped put specialty coffee on the map in western Germany.

Join us at for a special evening celebrating Operation Cherry Red through film, conversation, music, and coffee.
For years, visits to Tibebu's farm in Chelchele have been among the highlights of our time in Ethiopia. This summer, we're bringing Tibebu and his son Abebayehu to Europe for the very first time. Something that feels just as special as the project itself.
During our most recent visit, we filmed a documentary about Operation Cherry Red and the smallholder farmers behind it. Some of the most memorable moments came during conversations with Tibebu on his farm overlooking Chelchele. This screening will mark the first time that Tibebu and Abebayehu see the finished film themselves.
Following the screening, join Tibebu, Abebayehu, Trabocca founder Menno Simons, and MOK founder Jens Crabbe for a conversation about the origins of Operation Cherry Red, the realities of coffee production in Ethiopia, and the relationships that have shaped the project over the years.
The evening takes place at the newly opened MOK Studio, the home of one of Europe's most admired specialty coffee roasters and a long-standing Trabocca partner. Honest, remarkable, and uncompromising, has built its reputation around showcasing exceptional coffees with clarity and purpose. Including Tibebu's coffee.
Expect Ethio-jazz on vinyl through MOK's custom sound system, a selection of coffees, wines and beers, food by Ach, and plenty of time to connect.
