Celebrating 5 Years of Westfield Mall of the Netherlands! 🎉

From its roots as Leidsenhage to becoming a national attraction, in Leidschendam has redefined modern retail and urban leisure.

Today, this iconic mall welcomes 15 million visitors every year, showing the world the magic of physical retail.

Designed by MVSA, the mall is a masterpiece of fluid, sculptural architecture. Its signature white ‘silk scarf’ façade wraps the building in elegant curves, while inside, a 1.8 km figure-of-eight loop guides visitors through flagship stores, unique concepts, the Central Plaza, and the Dining Plaza, creating a continuous journey of discovery.

More than shopping, Westfield is a multifunctional destination with a cinema, fresh food market, and designer galleries. 🛍️🍴🎬

This milestone reflects the vision of and the dedication of our team, demonstrating how thoughtful design and innovative architecture can transform a retail space into a vibrant urban destination.

The Amsterdam University Library has been nominated for Arcam’s Amsterdamse Architectuurprijs (AAP) 2026!

Located in the historic city center, the Amsterdam University Library (UB) transforms the former Second Surgical Clinic and Nurses’ House into a dynamic hub where historic and contemporary architecture meet, creating a unique space for learning, research, and collaboration.

Commissioned by the and designed in collaboration with Buro van Stigt, the library has quickly become a beloved place for students and staff, combining functionality, beauty, and a strong sense of history.

’s AAP annually recognizes projects that excel in design, craftsmanship, and societal impact, and that contribute to a healthy, accessible, and livable city. We are proud of everyone who contributed to making the UB worthy of such recognition.

The AAP winner will be revealed on 10 June. Until then, you can explore all 10 nominated projects at Arcam’s exhibition starting 27 March.

The Diamond Shines Bright with a Nomination for the Signify Power of Two Awards!💎🏆

In the heart of Amsterdam, .amsterdam stands as a modern architectural landmark. Designed by MVSA Architects and realized in collaboration with .nl, , and contractor , the project transforms the iconic .amsterdam into a sophisticated interplay of form, light, and experience.

Commissioned by Caransa Groep B.V., every detail from the diamond-inspired façade to the meticulously crafted lighting design reflects a commitment to innovation, precision, and lasting impact.

At Wonderwoods, sustainability is at the core of daily operations. Management focuses on energy efficiency, health and wellbeing, biodiversity, and circular maintenance, all monitored through the BREEAM-NL In-Use methodology.

The building’s green and innovative design includes 360 trees and 50,000 plants and shrubs integrated into façades and rooftop gardens, actively reducing urban heat stress. Rainwater is collected for irrigation and flood prevention, while solar panels, thermal energy storage, and sustainable mobility initiatives support a greener, smarter urban workplace.

The eleven office floors in the MVSA Tower, designed under Roberto Meyer, offer a healthy and productive working environment. Direct access to terraces, winter gardens, and operable façades enhances natural light, ventilation, and employee wellbeing.

Already fully leased before, Wonderwoods sets the standard for integrated, sustainable office real estate in the Netherlands, combining environmental responsibility with workplace excellence.

Wonderwoods Office in Utrecht has achieved the highest BREEAM-NL In-Use rating: Outstanding, with an impressive score of 86.35% at asset level. This milestone reflects our commitment to sustainability beyond design and construction, embedding eco-conscious practices into the building’s daily operation and management.

Previously, during construction, the office tower earned the BREEAM-NL New Construction and Renovation “Excellent” certification. Thanks to close collaboration with tenants and partners, Wonderwoods now stands as a benchmark for holistic sustainability throughout the building lifecycle.

We are proud to announce that the Amsterdam University Library has been nominated for the Geurt Brinkgreve Bokaal 2025!

De Geurt Brinkgreve Bokaal 2025 is an annual prize awarded to the best initiative in the redevelopment or renovation of Amsterdam’s architectural heritage.

The new Amsterdam University Library combines monumental heritage with contemporary architecture to create a multifunctional academic building for students, researchers, and staff. The various spaces are connected by a light-filled atrium that encourages collaboration and interaction. The result is a unique, flexible, and accessible learning environment where past and future come together in a dynamic way.

We are extremely proud that Amsterdam University Library is a contender for this prestigious award. Our excitement is even greater because, in addition to Amsterdam University Library, our project Het Slotervaart has also been preselected in the same category!

We are proud to announce that Het Slotervaart has been nominated for the Geurt Brinkgreve Bokaal 2025!

The Geurt Brinkgreve Bokaal is an annual award for the best initiative in the field of redevelopment or renovation of Amsterdam’s architectural heritage.

Het Slotervaart provides space for healthcare and social functions. The brutalist structure has been carefully renovated, preserving its original architectural qualities. The new two-story rooftop extension harmonizes with the building’s existing rhythm while bringing in abundant natural light. In this way, a future-proof center for care, work, and community has been created for the neighborhood.

We are extremely proud that Het Slotervaart is a contender for this prestigious award. Our excitement is even greater because, in addition to Het Slotervaart, our Amsterdam University Library project has also been preselected in the same category!

We are proud to announce that The Pulse of Amsterdam has been preselected for the Zuiderkerkprijs 2025!

The Zuiderkerkprijs is an annual award organized by the Municipality of Amsterdam honoring the best completed residential building project in the city.

The Pulse of Amsterdam is a multifunctional building located in the Zuidas district. It consists of an office tower and a residential tower, connected by a vibrant podium featuring hospitality venues, commercial spaces, and a cinema. On top of this central volume lies a true urban forest at a height of 35 meters.

We are extremely proud that The Pulse is a contender for this prestigious award. The winner will be announced on the 16th of December. Until then, we are keeping our fingers crossed!

Last Friday, we celebrated a major milestone: the construction of EDGE Eindhoven has officially reached its peak! 🏗️

As an official partner of GLOW Eindhoven, our tower lit up the city with a dazzling light show by ruestungsschmie.de. The rhythmic façade came alive with projections and laser mapping, highlighting Eindhoven’s spirit of innovation and technology. 🏢

Rising in the heart of the city, EDGE Eindhoven will set a new benchmark for innovative and sustainable work and living spaces, standing as a shining example for the Lichthoven district.💡
