The people behind FUTURE-PROOFinc. are still kicking butt, mostly through Sustainable Growth Associates (SGA) and The Natural Step (TNS). You can follow there what we are doing to Future-proof individuals, organisations and systems.
Next to the sustainability wave, we have been speaking about, preparing for and working with exponential and emerging technologies since 2014.
Lately, we have been working a lot on sustainable chemicals and materials management, and ESG reporting, both at organisational and at systemic level. We facilitate transformation journeys with businesses, which touches upon Innovation of all aspects. In partnership with UNEP we (co-)authored various reports and publications, amongst others the Global Chemical Outlook II (UN GCO II).
Proud to have been at the launch of Release 2 of the Future-Fit Business Benchmarking London yesterday!
Based on the FSSD (aka The Natural Step framework), it codifies sustainability for business. It is the first tool that helps business show what it means/requires to be sustainable in all aspects. Investors are seeing the value to minimize their risks and by effectively communicating what they think is material and where business should progress to keep meeting finance/investment conditions.
The Body Shop, Novo Nordisk amongst others (and personally with A UK Chemical form) started using it to further strengthen their efforts and various large institutional investors started to use it. Both groups have publically expressed their support and commitment.
Having been Technical advisor for the development of the Benchmark for the past 4 years, it is great to see how it has matured.
Looking forward to engage with more businesses and investors to see how this could help achieve Future-fit ambitions.
