Our Story

The eDiscovery and Information Governance technology that ZyLab offers to its costumers had its beginning in 1983 in the city of Chicago. It was started as a company with the intention of helping organisations and companies of all kinds to organise their great amount of data and to be able to make sense of their information by setting information into order, analyse it and prioritise important data points. The results were then planned to be presented with innovative tools of visualisations.

ZyLab, from the beginning on, has made sure to constantly improve over the years and thus, made it possible to introduce new features to its software. The first new features in the early years of the existence of ZyLab were deep learning of natural learning, data mining and machine translation. It was furthermore, improved by adding sentiment mining and adding phonetic search on audio.

A few years later, in the late 2000s, ZyLab made it possible to make functions like topic modelling and a sophisticated visualisation option available for their customers. The most recent implementations, which made ZyLab become the innovative product it has become at the current point in time, are geomapping, community detection, topic rivers emotion mining and finally anomaly detection.

ZyLAB systems have not only been made available as a fixed software product implemented in an entity's organisational system but are also made available in a Software-as-a-Services (SaaS) model.
