At 49, most people are told to just “manage” their body. He decided to change it.

Three months. One plan. A completely different starting point than where he began.

1 month of Personal Training to build the foundation, then 2 months of Semi-Private Training alongside his trainer Joao, and look at his transformation!

Here’s what consistency and structure produced:

Weight: 80 kg → 69.9 kg
Waist: 100 cm → 86.7 cm

That waist number matters more than the scale. 13.3 cm off the midsection isn’t just a smaller belt size, it’s the kind of change that shows up in how you move, how you recover, and the health markers you don’t see in a mirror.

And he didn’t do it by training harder than everyone else.

He did it by following a method built around him — his body, his schedule, his life. No guessing. No starting over every two weeks. Just the long game, coached properly.

This is what’s possible at 49. At 39. At 59. It was never about age. It was about having a plan, and people who hold you to it.

Aaaand, he had never been to a gym before! Imagine that! Now, he feels more confident, and so proud of his transformation.

Father’s Day was yesterday.

The cards. The brunch. The one post that says “thanks, dad.”

But fatherhood was never built in one day. It’s built on the parts no one photographs, the early mornings, the showing up tired, the decisions no one applauds.

That’s the same thing we believe about training. Progress isn’t the highlight reel. It’s the repetition. The structure you hold when no one’s watching.

So to the fathers who train here to stay strong, mobile and present for the people who depend on them in ten, twenty years: that’s the long game. That’s the whole point.

Walking into a gym shouldn’t feel like a performance review.

For a lot of people, it does. Mirrors everywhere. Equipment you’re not sure how to use. The quiet sense that everyone’s watching.

We built ONE to feel like the opposite. Max four people in a group session. A coach who knows your name, your goals, your motivation, your “WHY” and what you struggled with.

This is what it looks like when people show up.

Not just for the reps. Not just for the results, but for each other.

Saturday was a reminder of what we’re building here. A place where people push harder because the person next to them is doing the same. Where strangers become training partners. A place where people really help each other out to be better.

That’s the ONE Open. That’s ONE.

One place. One tribe. All in. One.

Also, we are in shock on how many steps everyone walked or ran to get those points up at the end of the competition.

We needed to highlight that ONCE more 😂

The ONE Open Final 2026 🔥

The energy today was out of this world! So many happy faces brought together by the ethos of ONE.

Thank you for everyone that participated, that gave their all, that proofed how many steps they can walk in order to support your own team!

It was very inspiring to see our community growing stronger and stronger. Seeing friendships emerging from the ONE Open and the strength and commitment of each and one of our clients!

Your mood isn’t random ➡️
