We are so grateful for this memory of a time when our familiar friend Cadby appeared in Amsterdam while we were there visiting. An easy drop in and quick moment to follow the inspiration of cocreating lead us to a sun kissed field tucked just outside the city where we created this beautiful little video of our latest release “Empress”

Even after writing this song almost 2 years ago, it still has a way of relating to my present reality.

“Where am I holding on tightly? Where could I be releasing and trusting in the natural unfolding of life?”

Writing songs for me is a process of being open to experiences and taking time to reflect on them.

It’s an opportunity to decide what wants to continue on the journey and what can be thanked and left at that moment as a landmark to remind me that I’m always growing no matter how quick or slow.

It’s not a race when you’re only comparing yourself to yourself.

This Sunday I will be sharing more of these songs and reflections in a Home Concert setting in Mount Maunganui.
