Every year, Haskoning colleagues come together for challenges that go beyond the finish line. ❤️

This year for the 35th edition of the Roparun, 25 of the team took on the challenge of the 500-kilometre relay race in support of people in the palliative phase of their cancer care.

Throughout the route, they were welcomed by enthusiastic spectators, lively music, and celebrations in villages and cities. 🎉

The event is much more than a sporting challenge, it reflects our core values of collaboration, engagement, and responsibility.

On , we’re proud to back science that protects people and the planet. Last year we made our biggest commitment yet with the launch of our Haskoning Innovation & Education Fund, dedicating 12.5% of our annual net profits to global research, innovation and education.

With the fund we support Delft University of Technology’s “Sludge to Resource” research project exploring bacteria that can break down organic pollutants such as pesticides, and microplastics – recovering useful materials like metals or biopolymers. It’s science in action to protect people and secure a healthier future.
