On Monday, 22nd April, 2024, the Ogun State Government, represented by the State Taskforce on Environmental Compliance and Enforcement, headed by Alhaji Farook Akintunde, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Environment, conducted an enforcement operation against noise pollution at Salvation Ministeries Church on Kuforiji Olubi Drive in Adigbe, Abeokuta.

This action followed numerous complaints from residents in the area. Despite previous warnings issued to the organization, which were consistently ignored and in a concerning turn of events, the church members even attempted to detain government officials within the premises, however the church was ultimately sealed off after encountering significant resistance from its members.
