ON 2026 JAMB POLICY MEETING🌹

JAMB Change of Course/Institution forms will be available after the JAMB policy meeting this month meeting is concluded on May 11.

• Original JAMB results will be available after the JAMB policy meeting.

• The minimum cut-off mark will be set at the meeting.

• JAMB D.E registration now ends on 22nd May 2026.

• The JAMB policy meeting holds on Monday, 11th May 2026 at 10am.

JAMB WITHDRAWS 2026 UTME RESULTS, ANNOUNCES MOP-UP EXAMINATION

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has commenced the withdrawal of certain 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results, with affected candidates set to participate in a forthcoming mop-up examination.
According to notifications sent to candidates, the Board informed affected individuals that their previously released UTME results had been withdrawn and that they would be rescheduled for another examination.

“Your 2026 UTME result has been withdrawn. You will be rescheduled for the mop-up exam. Date and time will be communicated accordingly,” the notification read.

The mop-up examination is expected to hold in the second week of May as JAMB intensifies preparations for the commencement of the 2026 admission process

VC Leads MAU Delegation to Cameroon on Academic Collaboration and Student Outreach

In a bid to strengthen international academic collaboration and expand the university’s global presence, the Vice-Chancellor of Modibbo Adama University, Yola, Prof. Ibrahim Umar, last week led a management delegation to the Republic of Cameroon.

The visit, focused on sensitizing final-year secondary school students in Maroua, Garoua and Ngaoundere on the academic opportunities available at the university and encouraging them to pursue their undergraduate studies at Modibbo Adama University, Yola.

The Vice-Chancellor was accompanied by the University Librarian, Prof. Zainab Mohammed Abdullahi; the Director, Directorate of Academic Planning and Quality Assurance, Prof. Shaibu Mishelia; the Director, Centre for Distance Learning, Prof. Mukhtar Yahaya Magaji; and the Head of Department, Educational Foundations who also the contact person, Dr. Aminu Chiroma, among others.

During the engagements, the delegation showcased the university’s undergraduate and newly introduced programmes, while also highlighting available facilities and student support services, including accommodation, affordable tuition, and the institution’s 24-hour solar-powered electricity supply.

As part of the visit, the delegation paid courtesy calls on the Governors of Maroua and Ngaoundere, where discussions centered on strengthening educational cooperation and fostering stronger institutional relationships between Nigeria and Cameroon.

The delegation also visited Universities of Maroua Garoua and Ngaoundere to further deepen existing academic partnerships following the signing of Memoranda of Understanding between the institutions.

Discussions focused on postgraduate co-supervision between the Universities, staff exchange programmes, and broader academic collaboration, particularly for Cameroonian postgraduate students currently studying at the Modibbo Adama University.

This is to inform all candidates that Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has made adjustments to the CBT examination venues for some candidates ahead of the forthcoming UTME.

Candidates are strongly advised to reprint their examination slip to confirm their updated exam centre, date, and time.

All candidates are encouraged to reprint their slips to ensure the accuracy of their examination details.

As you know, JAMB main Examination reprints will commence on 9th of April while it's CBT exam will be conducted on 16th of April.
