I love football!
Not the part I have to sit and watch it because I can't sit that long, and Manchester United isn't playing well.
I love the part I get to photograph it.

Was hired to photograph Win-Win FC's End of The year Tournament on the 27th of December. Too too many photos to choose from (and I don't want to make a double post). *these aren't all chronological.

Here are some of my favourite moments from the tournament.

Godswill Akpabio United () VS Akwa United () was a city derby like no other. Some even called it a war. The old boys (Akwa United) came to prove they're still the city's supreme football club, while the new boys (GAUFC) made it clear that Akwa United is the past, and the present and future belong to GAUFC.

I edited 95 photos from this encounter, the most I've ever had from a single match and that shows how epic it was. It was incredibly tough to narrow them down to only 20 for Instagram.

Played and shot in both rain and sun, none of this would've been possible without my weather-sealed OM-1. I didn't get soaked, and I didn't let it get soaked, but when everyone else ran for cover, I knew I had nothing to worry about.

The affair ended in a scrappy 1–1 draw, with many blaming poor refereeing for the goal that came from awarding a controversial long throw, and for letting the game run more than five minutes past the added time to favour the old dogs ("football in Africa!" 🥲).
