GOD HAS POWER TO DO

Romans 4:21 being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. (NIV)

Coming towards the end of the year some might look back to what the Lord has done for them during the year and find that some promises, words or prophecies are yet to be fulfilled. Maybe at the beginning of the year or during the year you received a prophecy in the Word concerning what God would do for you in the year but now the year is almost over and nothing has happened in regard to that.

For Abraham it was the same. God promised him a son that would be his heir and also heir of the covenant and promise, but Abraham was almost a hundred years old and still had no son. Logically and all otherwise it was over, time had past him, he had become an old man. But Abraham didn't give up on God and His promise. He was fully persuaded that God had power to do what He promised. Romans 4:21 being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.

Be encouraged in the Lord; be strong. You might say 'another year has come to an end and my desire and prayer to God hasn't come to pass." But hear me, God has power to do what He promised you. It might seem over for you, but it's not. You may have given up on yourself and have accepted your fate. But hear this, God hasn't given up on His promise and plan for you. He has power to do; that is, to perform what He said.
1 Thessalonians 5:24 The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.

CONFESSION

Faithful is the God who called me, who also will do it. I am fully persuaded that God has power to fulfill His promises and plans for my life. Amen.

HE WAS BORN FOR US

Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (NIV)

Jesus' birth, death and resurrection was for us. He was born of man so we could be born of God. He put on flesh so we could put on divinity. He became man so we could become god. It was all for us.

The above verse says "...and the government will be on his shoulders." Shoulder is a part of the body not the head. Jesus is the head of His body the church. The government, rulership and authority is on the shoulder of the church. He came to put us in government, rulership and authority. We put us in charge.
Jesus didn't need victory over satan. He was in the highest heaven far above all things, and satan was on earth under His feet. His victory over satan was for us. 1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

He was born for us so we could be born of God. He died for us so we could live for God. He was condemned for us so we could be justified in Him.
Romans 4:25 He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.
Now we are justified and glorified in Him. We are righteous; we are declared not guilty. Now we freely live for God because He freely gave His life for us.

PRAYER

Precious Lord Jesus my heart is full of praise for all that You have done for me. Thank You for your miraculous birth, vicarious death and triumphant resurrection for me. You were delivered over to death for my sins and were raised to life for my justification. Praise be God forevermore. Amen.

GOD HAS MADE YOU

Romans 4:17 As it is written: "I have made you a father of many nations." He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed —the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not. (NIV)

God spoke these words in the above verse to Abraham at the time he had no child. He said to him "I have made you a father of many nations." Notice he didn't say "I will make you a father of many nations." God speaks 'fulfilled-word', anything He says to you is actually His reality. God knew His word concerning Abraham was already fulfilled though he was yet to walk in it physically.

Like Abraham God has made you. Whatever you desire to be or achieve He has already made it possible. Like Abraham you have to find that spoken word and hold on to it not weakening in faith through unbelief but strong in faith giving glory to God.

You may look into the Word and find beautiful things that God said concerning you but looking at your life outwardly nothing seems working or going to work. Facts are against you, time is against you, and everything is against any hope. Though it didn't look it, see what Abraham did. Romans 4:18-20 Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, "So shall your offspring be." Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead —since he was about a hundred years old —and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,

It might not look it from any angle but God has made you everything He needed you to be in Christ. Be strengthened in your faith and give glory to God.

CONFESSION

God has made me all that He needed me to be in Christ. Therefore I am it. I refuse to be weak in faith, I refuse to observe facts, time and anything that is against hope. In hope I believe in God that He has made me, and I am it. I give glory to You Father living out your word today, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS

Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! (NIV)

The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.
It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value. No nobody would ask you to rejoice over something that's not to your advantage. We have everything to our advantage in Christ, and it is our responsibility to recognize them and rejoice.

Looking at your physical environment and, maybe the circumstances of your life you might have reasons to feel bad and dejected. But looking in the Lord and who you are in Him, you would find not only the glorious you but also answers to all your questions.

When the world presents you with reasons to be sad and gloom look to the Lord and rejoice in Him. Glory in His Holy Name.
1 Chronicles 16:10 Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice.

One of the things you should do when you look to the Lord is to glow and glory in His Name. Keep the glory, praise, power and testimony of His Name in your sight always. And as you seek Him let your heart rejoice in Him.

CONFESSION

The eyes of my heart are enlightened. I can see and understand my rights, privileges and blessings in the Lord. I recognize my oneness with the Lord Jesus and rejoice exceedingly. I rejoice in the Lord today and always with joy, Amen Hallelujah!

FAITH IS A LAW

Romans 3:27 Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. Because of what law? The law that requires works? No, because of the law that requires faith. (NIV)

Faith is a requirement of the law of the Spirit. Faith is an attribute of the Holy Spirit, and as such an attribute of the recreated human spirit. Faith is a law.
Romans 8:2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.

The law of Moses brought judgment and condemnation unto death, but the law of the Spirit brings life. Having been born again you have this law at work in you. You are under this law of faith; your legal function is by faith. Everything you do with faith is legal, and anything you do without faith is illegal. What then is faith?

Faith is living in the reality the Word shows you; when the Word show you a reality live in it. This is the life of the righteous we are called into; we live by faith.
Romans 1:17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed —a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith."

Not living by faith, that is, not living in the reality the Word shows you is not only a disobedient but also living contrary to your truth. Your truth is that you are a new creation with the life and nature of God; you should walk in health and prosperity, you should walk in love and kindness. If you are not living like this then you are living against your truth ( your reality).

Faith is a law. We are those who live by faith and not by sight. Living by faith is living from your spirit. Living by sight is living from your outside and the circumstances that surrounds. And it is unlawful for a Christian to live like this.
2 Corinthians 5:7 For we live by faith, not by sight.

CONFESSION

My life is a life of faith because the law of the Spirit of life is at work in me. I operate by faith; carry out my dealings and endeavours by faith. Through faith in the Name of Jesus I heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead and cast out devils. I walk by faith in the Word producing the results and blessings of the Word, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

TELL OF ALL HIS WONDERFUL ACTS

1 Chronicles 16:8-9 Give praise to the LORD, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. (NIV)

There are people who will spend time to tell you what they want God to do for them. But would hardly tell you what God has already done for them. When it comes to God some are only concerned about now and tomorrow, not remembering and testifying to the wonderful works God has been doing in their lives.

God loves praise! He would that you tell everyone who cares about His wonderful deeds in your life. There are people who like to hide the big happenings in their lives for reasons best known to them. But God doesn't like it when you hide what He did for you. He wants you to shout it aloud, even from the roof-top.
The Word implore us in 1 Chronicles 16:8-9, Give praise to the LORD, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts.

How do you give praise to God? How do you proclaim His Name? It is by making known what He has done for you. Filling your songs and hyms with the wonders He wrought in your life. Your songs of praise shouldn't just be mere instruments and sounds, and mere words. Your words should have contents of what the Lord has done for you.
Make this season a special season of thanksgiving, make known among people what the Lord has done for you; tell of all His wonderful acts.

PRAYER
Precious Father my heart is full of praise and thanks for all that you have done for me this year. Thank you for protecting I and my family, thank you for provision, promotion, progress, increased grace and favour, thank You for the impact in people's lives through me, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
