Photoshoot session with a friend.

What made this shoot work wasn’t just the camera or the setup, but the level of comfort and trust on set. The session felt natural, with easy direction, honest feedback, and moments where everything clicked without forcing it.

When people are relaxed, it shows in the images. Those are usually the frames that carry the most impact.

Sharing a few results from the session. Would love to hear which image stands out to you.

Some moments are clean.
Some are chaotic.
Some are “wait, let’s try that again.”
Then suddenly, everything clicks.

Sharing a few moments from the shoot and the final results. Grateful for every project, every collab, and every chance to create.

Which shot is your favorite? 💛

Photos from a shoot I never got around to posting last year.

Not because the work wasn’t good.
Life got busy, projects stacked up, and some moments stayed in the drafts longer than planned.

As I clear out old folders and unfinished posts, I’m reminded that good work doesn’t expire. Every shoot represents effort, collaboration, and growth at that point in time.

These images are part of that season.
A reminder of the progress, the lessons, and the consistency I’m carrying into this year.

Clearing drafts isn’t just about posting old work.
It’s about closing chapters properly and making space for what’s next.

More from the archives coming.

Today was one of those shoot days that remind me why I love creating.

We wrapped a shoot for Dine or Date and the concept is simple but real. Two strangers meet over a meal. No scripts. No pressure. Just conversation, laughs, awkward moments, and honest vibes.

By the end of the date, they decide.
If the connection is there, it’s a Date and they can take it further.
If not, it’s just a Dine and a good meal shared.

What I loved most about shooting this wasn’t the cameras or the setup, it was watching two people slowly relax, open up, and just be human. Real reactions. Real energy. Real moments you can’t fake.

This one is about connection, chemistry, and letting things flow naturally. Can’t wait for you all to see how it turns out.

Would you go on Dine or Date? 👀🍽️💬

Most new creators think cinematic lighting means expensive lights, big setups, and a studio.

It doesn’t.

Cinematic lighting is really about how you see light, not how much gear you own.

If you’re shooting with your phone, light is either your biggest advantage or the reason your videos look flat.

Start simple.
Face your subject toward the light. A window, a doorway, or a streetlight already does more than you think.

Don’t turn on every light in the room. One clean light source creates mood. Too many lights just confuse the camera and kill the vibe.

Let shadows exist. Cinematic doesn’t mean bright. It means depth, contrast, and intention. Darkness is part of the story.

And remember, you can shape light with almost anything. Curtains. Walls. Paper. Even your hands. You don’t need gear to start, you need awareness.

If you’re new to creating, stop waiting for the “right setup.”
Learn to see light where you are, with what you have.

That’s how cinematic videos actually start.

Save this for your next shoot and go practice today.

Day 11 Of Showing Up For The Next 365 Days
Silhouette shots aren’t about showing details.
They’re about showing feeling.

With just your smartphone and the right light, you can create powerful, cinematic images that instantly grab attention. No fancy gear. No complicated setup. Just smart choices.

4 simple tips for better silhouette shots on your phone:

1️⃣ Shoot into the light
Position your subject directly in front of a strong light source. Sunsets, windows, streetlights, headlights all work.

2️⃣ Expose for the background
Tap on the brightest part of the scene and lower your exposure. Let the subject go dark. Don’t fight it.

3️⃣ Focus on shape and pose
Silhouettes rely on outlines. Side profiles, clean poses, and separated arms or legs read better than flat angles.

4️⃣ Keep the background clean
A simple sky or light background makes the silhouette stronger and easier to recognize.

Silhouettes help you tell stories without saying too much. And that’s what makes them powerful.

Save this post for your next shoot and try a silhouette shot today. Tag me when you do. I’d love to see your take. Note: Last picture was just me play with black and white 😂😂😂

Clearing my drafts from last year and this one had to see the light of day.
Day 10 Of Showing Up For The Next 365 Days

Captured this when pulled up to UniUyo with . One of those moments where everything aligned. The energy, the crowd, the timing.

Looking back, it’s a reminder that some frames age well.
Not because they’re perfect, but because they hold a story.

Sometimes the best thing you can do as a creative is revisit your archive. There’s growth in seeing how far you’ve come and value in finishing what you started.
