FREE MEDICAL OUTREACH: REACHING OUT TO THOSE IN NEED
In collaboration with esteemed partners St. Ann Care, Ecews, Initiative for Health and Education and Insight Gospel Aids Initiative (IGAI) successfully conducted a free medical outreach at Ikot Ankitt Community, Ibiono Ibom LGA, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
Outreach Details
- 150 persons received medical consultations
- 30 children were seen by a pediatrician
- 100 individuals were tested for HIV.
- 38 elderly persons received reading glasses and eye drops after eye exams
- 104 vulnerable individuals received food provisions (rice, beans, and garri)
Common Health Issues Identified
Hypertension, malaria, and diabetes were the most prevalent health concerns among the community members.
