PASTOR UMOH ORDAINED IN EKET, CELEBRATION HOLDS IN IKWE COMMUNITY

Pastor Ezekiel Umoh has been officially ordained as a Pastor at the Apostolic Field Temple in Eket Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, in a ceremony marked by joy, honor, and strong community presence.
The ordination ceremony drew a large and diverse crowd, including youths from Ikwe Community, royal fathers, elders, party faithfuls, and women, all gathered to witness and celebrate this significant spiritual milestone.

Following the ordination, Pastor Umoh proceeded to his country home in Ikwe Community, where a grand reception was held in his honor. The atmosphere was vibrant and festive as indigenes and well-wishers turned out in large numbers to celebrate with their son.

Speaking during the celebration, the APC Ward Chairman of Oniong East Ward III, Mr. Juries Columbus Utak, congratulated Pastor Umoh and thanked God for blessing the community with a devoted servant and spiritual leader. He also appreciated party faithfuls and the entire Ikwe Community for their continued unity and support.

Mr. Utak further commended the leadership of the party, particularly the Political Leader of APC in ONNA, Rt. Hon. Pat Ifon, for his role in strengthening the party structure. He also acknowledged the Chapter Chairman of APC in ONNA, Mr. Tom Nkanang, for his effective leadership, alongside other stakeholders whose contributions have sustained the growth of the party.

Special recognition was given to the Personal Assistant to the Governor on Mobilization, Arc. Ayara Johnson, for his dedication to grassroots mobilization and consistent engagement with the people.

In his remarks, Ayara Johnson congratulated his father, Pastor Umoh, and expressed appreciation to everyone who came out to celebrate the occasion. He called on the people of Ikwe to remain united and committed to the progress of the community, in line with their shared vision.

He also revealed that, aside Ikwe - Odio road construction, the Governor has plans to construct solar-powered boreholes across all wards in Akwa Ibom State, assuring that Oniong East Ward III will benefit from the initiative. He thanked the Governor for his continued developmental strides and called for sustained support toward his second-term bid.

In their separate remarks, leaders of Ikwe Community expressed deep appreciation to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency Pastor Umo Eno, PhD, for awarding the construction of the Ikwe–Odio Road and the Ndon Eyo–Ikot Akpatek Road. They described the projects as timely and impactful, with the potential to significantly improve the socio-economic life of the people.

The community leaders reaffirmed their commitment to support the re-election of Governor Umo Eno for a second term, as well as their continued backing of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The event concluded with prayers, goodwill messages, and joyful celebrations, marking a new chapter in the life and ministry of Pastor Ezekiel Umoh.

THE EAGLE HAS LANDED: A NEW DAWN FOR THE CITY BOY MOVEMENT IN AKWA IBOM STATE

In a remarkable show of unity, strength, and renewed political direction, top leaders and grassroots mobilizers of the City Boy Movement gathered at the Akwa Ibom State International Airport to receive the State Director, Engr. Dr. Iboro Johnny, whose arrival marks a significant turning point for the movement in the state.

Leading the reception were the Chairman of Maurid Group of Schools and State Organizing Secretary of the movement, Dr. Godwin Umontuen; the ONNA Local Government Chapter Coordinator, Apostle Dr. Amb. Elijah Jack ; and the Akwa Ibom South Coordinator, Hon. Johnson Attah , alongside other state executives and chapter coordinators.

The atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm and purpose as the State Director addressed members and officially presented his appointment letter from Abuja, reaffirming his mandate to lead and reposition the movement across Akwa Ibom State.

In his speech, he emphasized the core mission of the City Boy Movement—to galvanize massive grassroots support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Governor Pastor Umo Eno, PhD. He called for total commitment, strategic mobilization, and unity of purpose among members at all levels.

In his remarks, Dr. Godwin Umontuen congratulated the State Director and charged members to return to their various local government areas, wards, and units with a renewed sense of purpose. He stressed the need to empower the grassroots and “turn village boys into city boys,” a slogan that reflects the movement’s vision of transformation and inclusion.
He further appreciated the unwavering support of the President, acknowledged the role of the progenitor of the movement, Barr. Seyi Tinubu, and commended the Senate President and the Governor for their continued support and leadership.

With a strong call for unity, members were urged to take the Arise Agenda and the Renewed Hope Agenda to the grassroots, ensuring that the message resonates across every community in the state.

A motion affirming total support for the President, the Senate President, and the Governor was unanimously moved and seconded, demonstrating the collective resolve of the movement.

The event concluded with an inspection of the State office of the City Boy Movement, led by the State Director, which will serve as a central coordination hub for all chapter activities across Akwa Ibom State.

Indeed, the eagle has landed—and with it comes a renewed vision, stronger coordination, and a determined push toward victory.

I write with a heart full of gratitude to His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, PhD, The Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, for the gracious approval and award of the 7.6 kilometre Ikwe–Odio Road that is in my village in Onna and Eket Local Government Areas, complete with outfall drains and solar street lighting, awarded to Orenburg Construction Limited, and Ndon Eyo - Ikot akpatek road also in ONNA Local Government Area.

Your Excellency, this goes far beyond a road project. It is a true answer to the long-standing prayers of our people.
For years, our communities have hoped for this kind of intervention, and today, that hope has been brought to life through your thoughtful and people-focused leadership.

This development will ease movement, open up economic opportunities, improve access to schools and healthcare, and enhance the overall quality of life for our people.
