The perfect trading mind would be that of a cougar. If you were to see a cougar hunting, you would swear that it was being lazy—just sitting there, with nothing going on. It’s not out actively looking, the way an African lion would.

The cougar does not chase. It waits to see what the forest is going to give it. And then, when that deer locks in, it drops 10 to 15 feet, snaps the neck of the deer, and it just drops dead.

If that deer is not killed, the cougar is not going to chase and expend the energy. So what it does is take the loss, climb back up the tree, and wait again for the next setup to come.

Sounds like a trader.
