TOPIC: UNDERSTANDING THE SCRIPTURE

Memorise:

44 Then He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.”

45 And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.

46 Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, [a]and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day,

47 and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

48 And you are witnesses of these things.

49 Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city [b]of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.”

EXPOSITION
Jesus is the fulfilment of the law, and the entire Bible revolves around Him. The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed, while the New Testament is the Old revealed. The Law and Prophets talk some much about the coming Messiah, while the gospels and epistles talk about the Messiah who came and showcased the Father. With Jesus, we don't need personal revelation of God because He is the express image of the Father (Heb. 1:3). He told the disciple who asked Him to show them the Father, that we already have the Father by having Him (Jn. 14:7-11).

No one can have deeper understanding of the Scripture, if they have not known Jesus. Our comprehension of the Scripture will be full when we fully understand that everything the Bible represents is God manifested in the flesh (Jn. 1:14). Just as the disciples of Jesus could not connect between the Old and New Testaments, many people are yet at sea, they find it difficult to realise that Moses and the prophets only released what God revealed to them about Jesus Christ, some with limited understanding of what they even wrote. Christ eventually fulfilled all the prophecies about Him. How well do you know Him?

Prayer Points:
1. Lord Jesus, thank You for the revelation of Yourself to the world so that we might be saved.

2. My understanding of the work that Jesus Christ came to do will no longer be deficient, in Jesus' name.

3. Pray that the Church of God in the land would be more focussed on helping people to know the Lord well.

Genesis 1:3.

And God said, 'Let there be light,' and there was light.

I declare as I will sleep tonight that myself and my family will manifest the light of God. Every darkness around us will disappear completely and we shall dwell in the marvelous light of God in Jesus

Every satanic delay assigned against my marriage, career, finances, and legitimate advancement is broken. I declare as I will sleep tonight that the Almighty God will outpouring His loving kindness unto me and my family in a new dimension. He will manifest Himself unto us in Jesus mighty

By the blood of the lamb, I declare that every eye watching me for evil is blinded permanently. Every altar calling my name is scattered. Every mirror, water, or charm used to track me is shattered by fire. From tonight, I walk in divine secrecy — hidden in the fire of the Holy Ghost. No witchcraft camera can locate me, no familiar spirit can trace me, and no evil observer can report me. My life is shielded, my destiny is secured, and my steps are ordered by divine power. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

I declare as I will sleep tonight that my children will be strong in the Lord God and in the power of His might. They shall not suffer in the hands of their enemies

By the authority of Jesus Christ, I declare that every arrow of death, every accident trap, every evil projection, and every satanic agenda against my life is destroyed by fire. I walk under divine covering, I live and I shall not die, and no power of darkness shall cut short my days. My steps are ordered, my path is secured, and my destiny is preserved. I move forward in strength, victory, and long life, in the mighty name of Jesus Amen 🙏🙏🙏

NIGHT DECLARATION

Luke 1:42.
In a loud voice she exclaimed: “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear!

I declare as I will sleep tonight that my children are blessed greatly. They will live to enjoy the blessings of God , God's mercy will speak for them , they are for the blessing of God in Abundantly

🙏 every cycle of rejection and disappointment is broken. I will not continually be denied at the edge of opportunity, rejected where I should be received, or disappointed where I have a legitimate expectation. The favor of God goes before me. The right doors will recognize me, the right people will receive me, and the right opportunities will not pass me by. I am moving beyond repeated rejection into divine acceptance, beyond disappointment into fulfillment, and beyond repeated setbacks into established testimony, in the mighty name of Jesus Amen 🙌🙌🙌

TOPIC: GETTING READY FOR THE KINGDOM (III)

Memorise:
Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as by no means enter a little child will it
(Mark 10:15).

Read: Mark 10:13-15
13 Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them.

14 But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.

15 Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”

EXPOSITION
In this passage, Jesus emphasises the importance of childlike qualities for entering the the Kingdom of God. At the Jesus for blessings, but the disciples tried time, people brought little children to to send them away. Jesus rebuked them and said, Of such is the kingdom of God.

What does this mean? One key quality of children is their forgiving nature. Many divorces today, as mentioned in earlier verses of this chapter, stem from inability or unreadiness to forgive. Jesus linked the humility and forgiveness of children to the Kingdom of God. To enter His Kingdom, we must be willing to forgive, just as children do. If you forgive others, you aren't doing them favour; you are helping yourself. The more bitter you are, the more open you are to health challenges. Ask medical experts! Even in marriage, only two forgivers can live together in peace.

More importantly, forgiveness is not optional for those preparing for heaven. It is central to the Lord's Prayer: Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. This implies that you get what you give (cf. Lk. 6:38) A forgiving heart is essential for entering the Kingdom.

1. Lord, help me to forgive others as You forgive me.

2. Lord Jesus, give me a heart free from bitterness and filled with love.

3. Father, restore harmony in broken homes and relationships through forgiveness.

Romans 5:1.
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

I declare as I will tsleep tonight that the allocated peace of God for me and my family through our Lord Jesus Christ shall evidently manifest unto us in all ramifications of life in Jesus name

By the power of God my life will no longer move in circles. I am coming out of every cycle of rising and falling, advancing and retreating, building and losing. I will not rise only to fall again. I will not receive only to lose again. I will not build only to start over again. By the power of God, my foundation is becoming stronger, my progress is becoming stable, and my victories are becoming permanent. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

I declare as I will sleep tonight that the inherited peace of Christ will be sufficient for me and my family. We shall fully enjoy His peace without limit

By the authority in the blood of Jesus Christ, I cleans every generational curse of poverty, lack, and financial limitation working against my life is destroyed forever. From now on I step into generational blessings, divine provision, supernatural increase, and unstoppable financial progress. My family line is liberated, my destiny is secured, and no power of darkness shall return me to lack again, in the mighty name of Jesus Amen 🙌🙌🙌
