📢 IMPORTANT NOTICE TO HND HOLDERS
The Federal Ministry of Education and the National Universities Commission (NUC) have stated that HND to BSc conversion or “Top-Up” programmes are not approved and have been discontinued.
According to the update:
▪️ HND and BSc are both recognised graduate qualifications
▪️ NUC said it never approved HND-to-BSc conversion programmes
▪️ Some universities reportedly run such programmes without official approval
⚠️ Candidates are advised to avoid any unapproved “HND to BSc Conversion” programme, as it may not be recognised for academic or professional purposes.
✅ Approved Options for HND Holders:
• Apply for a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
• Proceed to Master’s Degree after PGD
• Use Direct Entry to gain admission into a university degree programme
Candidates are advised to follow only approved academic pathways recognised by the NUC.

📢 Lagos State Rejects 150 JAMB Cut-Off Mark
The Lagos State Government has stated that its state-owned universities will not admit candidates who scored below 185 in the 2026 UTME.
The government disagreed with the 150 minimum cut-off mark approved by JAMB for university admissions.

📢 2026/2027 ADMISSION DEADLINES RELEASED
JAMB has announced the approved closing dates for admissions into universities, polytechnics, and colleges for the 2026/2027 academic session.
🗓 Admission Timeline:
▪️ Federal & Public Universities — Admission process must end on or before 31st October 2026
▪️ State & Private Universities — Admission closes by 30th November 2026
▪️ Polytechnics, Colleges of Education & Other Institutions — Admissions to end on or before 30th December 2026
All institutions are expected to complete their admission activities within the approved schedule released by JAMB.
📌 What This Means For IMSU Aspirants:
IMSU is a state university, the school is expected to complete its admission process on or before 30th November 2026.

🚨 POLICE AND JAMB EXPOSE EXAM CHEATING IN DELTA 🚨
The Nigeria Police Force and JAMB have discovered and stopped a group involved in exam malpractice during the 2026 UTME.
The incident happened at the College of Education, Warri, Delta State, where some people were allegedly helping candidates to cheat during the examination.

🚨 BREAKING UPDATE ON 2026 UTME 🚨
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has started notifying candidates whose examination centres experienced technical glitches or manual issues during the 2026 UTME.
According to the update, results of affected candidates have been temporarily withdrawn, and those involved will be rescheduled to retake the examination at a later date.
Candidates are advised to regularly check their SMS, email, and JAMB portal for further instructions and new examination dates.
