That's exactly what echo does.
echo prints text to your screen — but combine it with the > redirect operator and it writes directly into a file.
One line. No editor. No fuss. Just pure Linux power 💪

The >> operator is the bonus tip you didn't know you needed — it adds to a file without deleting what's already there.

cat stands for concatenate — and it's one of those commands you'll use every single day as a Linux user.

You can create a file in Linux without opening any app — just the terminal. touch creates any file instantly. txt, html, js — whatever you need. This is your last basic Linux command before things get interesting 👨🏾‍💻
