TCN gives update on blackout in presidential villa, Nnamdi Azikiwe Int’l Airport, other parts of Abuja

The Transmission Company of Nigeria said it is already addressing the blackout in parts of Abuja, including the Presidential Villa and the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.

A statement by Ndidi Mbah, TCN’s spokesperson, on Saturday, said the outage was due to faults with the red and yellow phase 33kV bushings of the 100MVA power transformer in its Apo substation.
