Did you know?

Some of the waste we throw away can become a source of income.
Plastic, paper, textiles and other materials can be reused, recycled or transformed into new products.

Waste management is not just about keeping our environment clean.
It can also create jobs and support sustainable livelihoods.

A milestone worth celebrating. 🌱

We marked the close-out of our Nature-Based Solutions project in Ikot Ukpong and Ikot Umiangede, Akwa Ibom State, celebrating restoration, community action, and resilient livelihoods.

The project may be closing, but the impact continues.

What kind of world are we leaving behind?

A healthier planet doesn’t happen by accident.
It happens through the choices we make every day.

This Sunday, let’s remember: protecting our planet is not just about today. It’s about those who come after us. 🌱

Did you know?🌎

Waste can be recycled and upcycled into useful products and income-generating opportunities.

♻️ Waste can be wealth.

A new week is a reminder that climate action cannot wait for the “perfect time.”

The choices we make today, how we farm, manage waste, use land and protect ecosystems, shape the resilience of tomorrow.

This Monday, let’s choose action over excuses.

We keep searching for new climate solutions.
But some of the most powerful ones are already standing around us.

Restore forests. Protect wetlands. Regenerate our soils.

Sometimes, the best climate technology is simply nature.

The environment doesn’t take weekends off.

Every tree protected, every piece of waste reused, and every sustainable choice matters.

This weekend, choose one small action that makes a difference.

🌱 Hello, September!

A new month, a new opportunity to grow, restore, and create impact.

May September bring renewed purpose, stronger communities, and meaningful progress toward a greener, more resilient Africa.

Happy New Month from PIGD!
