As part of our implementation of the UNDP -supported project, we visited Ukpong and Ikot Umiangede communities in Etinan LGA, Akwa Ibom State, to strengthen ongoing efforts in forest conservation and sustainable resource management.

During the engagement, we interacted with key community stakeholders and forest custodians to reinforce collaboration around protecting local forest ecosystems and promoting sustainable practices.

We also shared essential materials to support field activities and enhance the capacity of community members working directly on forest monitoring and protection.

This visit reflects our continued commitment to empowering communities, strengthening local governance structures, and advancing sustainable forest management outcomes.

We had the privilege of attending the 61st Annual International Conference & Exhibition organized by the Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS) in Uyo.

It was an incredible experience engaging in insightful discussions, exploring industry innovations, and connecting with key stakeholders shaping the future of mining and geosciences in Nigeria.

Grateful for the knowledge shared and the opportunities to collaborate towards sustainable growth in the sector.

On World Water Day, we took action beyond awareness.

The Prime Initiative for Green Development team visited Bundu, engaging directly with local women on the importance of water-efficient agriculture.

Because water isn’t just a resource, it’s a lifeline for food, livelihoods, and the future.

Together, we are building smarter, more sustainable farming practices.

Water is life and every drop counts.

This World Water Day, we’re reminded that access to clean water is not a privilege, but a right.
