OYO STATE PARTY PRIMARY ELECTION AND THE IMPOSITION THEATRICS

Naturally, democracy operates principle of majority which emphasizes that decision must be in accordance with the desire of the populace. The principle of majority can be popularly achieved at the end of every decision made electorally and such decision is upheld and binding in democratic setting. Prior to general elections in democratic states, there is a tradition which ought to be genuinely exercise within political parties that wish to contest in the aforementioned elections. The tradition is the primary election among members of a political party in which the winner becomes the flag-bearer of such political party in readiness for the general election with other political parties flag-bearers.

Political party is a social structure made up of people with like minds and ideologies aimed at election contest, with a hope to win and form a government of either a country, state(s) or localities.

Primary election in any political party is as important as having the steering committee of the party because it dictates to some extent the acceptability of the Political party in the general election. Therefore, it is to be pivoted through harmonious relationship and acceptance from all members of the party and contenders in the primary election which oils the internal democracy of the party. Internal democracy in any political party can never be underemphasized because it is through this every members enjoy his/her political right in the party, either to vie for a post or remain a stakeholder and a force to reckon with during party's primary election.

Democracy operates on the basis of fairness, justice and impartiality, therefore, internal democracy in any political party must represent a level playing ground for all members to compete for any political office they might desire for in preparation for the general election. Equal political opportunities and liberties are antidote to imposition of any kind, be it candidate or vital political party decision which bears internal democracy in political parties. Absence of internal democracy in political parties can be best described as democracy without democracy because political parties are the substructure upon which a nation’s democracy is built. A threat to internal democracy of a party is a threat to the democracy of the nation and a severe threat to good governance in the country.

Candidate imposition is a major feature of lack of political party internal democracy. Candidate imposition is an act in which some influential and powerful political party leaders handpicks their favourite as a candidate without considering the progress and well-being of the other political party members and the unity of the party. It also refers to anointing candidate by some influential and powerful political party leaders and forcing such upon the rest of the political party members. On the other hand, political party internal democracy means culture and norms which are; tolerance for others’ view-points, right to compete for supports and votes, free and fair elections, eligibility for public office and playing politics in accordance with the guidelines of a political party.

Sadly in Nigeria, lack of internal democracy due to impunity causes imposition of candidates which poses severe threat to unity and legitimacy of party's flag-bearers in the general election. This had led to factions in political party and making one of the two parties involved losing out (through judgement of the court). We had witnessed the sack of elective political office holders due to irregularities of the party's primaries that produced them. In the context of this writing, the theatrics and run of activities during Oyo State party primary elections will be put into circumspect.

Taking a close look at imposition as one of the bane to modern day democracy, Oyo State political space has been a theatre of dream and loads of all sort of surprises since the parties primary election started and ended. Never forget so soon that before the party primary election, there has been some internal crack in the party between the governor's camp and those that describe themselves as aggrieved PDP member's where some ardent PDP stalwarts belong. The likes of Alhaji Bisi Oloopoenia, Nurain Akanbi, Hazeem Gbalarunmi, Honourable Mulikat Adeola, Babafemi Jogor and hosts of others.

Despite all peace movement by the national body, all efforts has proved abortive. One would have expected that following the fall out that ensued between the governor and some member's of the party after the Local Government Election where the Governor decided to choose individuals that are closer to him, the primary election should have been a good avenue to settle the scores between them by shifting ground and allowing a peaceful, fair and just primary election. This appears to be like an illusive myth.

Also there are some instances where the governor needed to impose members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), who are loyalists of Senator Monsurat Sunmonu in some local government most especially in Oyo Town. It was assumed prior before the primary election that in any local government where consensus failed, people are allowed to vote for individuals of their choice but this appear to be mere cheap talk as there are video evidences where individuals expressed their grievances on the system of imposition by the governor on people from certain local governments.

The various act by the governor coupled with the aftermath of the primary election forced people like Honourable Mulikat Adeola, Alhaji Adebisi Olopooenia, Babafemi Jogor out of the party. Some members of the party even found it funny when the governor of the state singlehandedly handpicked a new decampee from the All Progressive Congress, Honourable Ademola Ojo as the new Deputy Chief of Staff. Some have weighed this option and felt abit jilted. Some of the party men who have worked assiduously day and night believed that the Governor should have rewarded core party men and women before giving Deputy Chief of Staff position to a new member of the party who had even flagged to contest for House of Representatives seat under the auspices of Accord Party after he lost in APC due to the same imposition theatrics by Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin.

However, while the PDP crisis still appears hot, the governor has ensured that some party members who lost at the primary election would be given appointments and substituted for all government appointees that won the primary election. As such, people like Wale Ajani, Ogunlade Abisoye have been given appointment in OYSROMA and Oyo State Liason Office in Abuja respectively. This single decision by the governor might as well have doused the tension between the aggrieved individual after the post primary election and the governor's camp.

In the case of the All Progressive Congress in Oyo State, the party has become a house of commotion and confusion subject to loads of dramas and tactics that ensued between the camp of Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin and the camp of people like Bayo Adelabu, Azeez Adeduntan and host of others. We shouldn't forget quickly the event that precede the party primary election which was the state congress where some anomalies were discovered. This is the beginning of the current crisis in Oyo State APC where the other camps believed that those who are loyal to Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin have hijacked the Party from everyone by imposing Honorable Isaac Omodewu on the party.

As if that is not enough, the drama that followed the APC State Congress where both warring parties recognizes two individuals as party chairman. The camp of Senator Teslim Folarin recognize Isaac Omodewu while the camp of Bayo Adelabu recognizes Abu Gbadamosi. The Oyo State APC up until the day Senator Abiola Ajimobi died has been a house with no acceptable leader. One could remember vividly that even when immediate past Governor of Oyo State, Governor Also Akala was alive, there has always been friction between him and Baba Akin Oke on whom the party's leadership is. Put differently, the primary election of APC from the gubernatorial election to house of assembly was loaded with lots of anomalies ranging from doctoring delegates names to imposition of newly decamped member of PDP on the party.

One should not forget the imposition of Muraina Saubana on people of Ibarapa and how that forced people like Ademola Ojo and Kewulere Mukaran out of the Party to PDP and APP respectively. One shouldn't forget so easily the unfruitful effort to impose Senator Kola Balogun on the party which was repelled by the party stalwarts either ways in Oyo South. One should not forget the unfair treatment that some aspirants for member of house of assembly showed following the jamboree primary election and that of the house of representatives and senate.

The event over the week has forced individual like Bayo Adelabu, Senator Ayoola Adeseun, Soji Ojoawo, Wakil Oyedemi, Faozey Oladotun, Mr Tosho, Wahab Adeojo, Shina Peller and host of others out of the party, while reasons for Honorable Shina Peller appears more different from others. These set of people are now candidates under the auspices of Accord Party. As much as Senator Teslim's reconciliation process is said to have been put in place, all is not well in the All Progressive Congress as imposition of various individuals on the party is gradually leading APC in Oyo State to implosion.

X-RAYING THE AFTERMATH

Imposition in political parties especially that of candidates has become a tradition and culture practiced by every political parties in Nigeria which Oyo State is never an exception. Infact, every political parties' internal democracy is faulty and at a brink of turning the democratic setting of the country into chaos. We have reached a stage where leaders sit down at party's secretariat or somewhere to send names of candidates to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). This has left our democracy unclad and prone to many atrocities. What an abuse to our democracy!

Unarguably, the imposition of candidates due to lack of political party's internal democracy is the chief root of country's development problem, leadership, economic and social ills. Also, when candidates who felt short-changed in their original political party primaries cross-carpet to another political party only to be given opportunity to compete for elective posts or offered attractive and valuable appointments over the hardworking and loyal old political party members, it often breeds frustration and bad blood within political parties, which by extension threatens the nation’s democracy.

Conclusively, imposition of candidates on members of political party has drastically reduced the belief in a political party's internal democracy and creating more avenue and reason to be apolitical because of the general belief that everything will be ruled in favour of those whom the party leaders have are interested in. As both APC and PDP continue to lick their sore wounds, the game ahead of 2023 now focuses more on who has the wherewithal to manage its different post primary election crises.

SEYI MAKINDE'S EDUCATIONAL POLICIES: THE BEAUTY CLAD IN TORN GARMENTS

Education is universally acceptable as a fundamental tool in nation building. No nation has ever survived above the standard of its education. Education remains the measuring tape for the prospect of a Nation/state future survival. Without education, Nations are bound to fall.

Education system has been a major discuss across the nation ranging from the federal, state and local level in Nigeria. It's of no gainsay that the dilapidated structure of education have been discussed over years with analysing of the same issues over years. What has been the outcome? Low productivity from educational sector. Recently, education is the second most discussed topics across the country after INSECURITY.

With facts and evidence, Southwestern states had record more success than any geopolitical zones with brilliant academic performance over the years. The southwestern states remain the most educated region in Nigeria!

Oyo town as an evident state is always an area of concern in educational sector. Despite huge allocation to educational sector, does Oyo state has what it takes to compete with other town?

During the regime of Late Abiola Ajimobi, executive Governor of Oyo state (2011-2019), several policies were made which affect the primary, secondary and tertiary institutions negatively and positively. One of the most discussed policies is "Allocation to sectors of Education", With huge amount of money being allocated to educational sector with nothing to show for it, Late Ajimobi introduced the payment of a certain amount of fee by the Students in Public schools. Several outbursts occur but was later agreed upon by the parent and guardians in the State.

To avert unseriousness in students, the previous administration also introduced a joint promotional exam to all Preceding classes to terminal classes in secondary school. It is evident that this policy worked as majority of the students who could not cope had to drop out of the public schools in the state. Subsequently, Late Ajimobi also stopped the sponsorship of SS3 students in the payment of WAEC fee, an initiative introduced by the former Governor of the state, Otunba Christopher Alao Akala having claimed that funds are being wasted by the students.

The reversal of this policy hit the parents/guardians hard of which 15% of the students then dropped out due to inability to pay the WAEC fee.

With the emergence of Engr. Seyi Makinde, rays of hope began to shine once more because of his "FREE EDUCATION POLICY" in campaign and manifesto. Majority of parents in the state saw him as the Messiah in the Educational sector.

During his inauguration, Engr Seyi Makinde abolish the payment of #3000 annually by the students in public schools, claiming "Education should be free for all". Yes! Education should be a common man's right. It was on record that the #3000 being collected by the previous administration was to serve as a means of interventions to the school (the funds is being used to finance majority of the school's project). Before abolishment, several interventions were made to the public schools across the state. Since Government scrapped development levies, examination fees in primary schools
Teachers buy chalks from their personal Money and to worsen the case,2020 exam questions was used in the last exams .it has gotten worse to the extent that students no longer collect report card any longer because parent are being adamant to pay for Report card due to the "LORI IRÓ" Promise on Free Education

It's been barely two years after the abolishment of the developmental levy being paid, the present government has been lagging behind in the provision of adequate interventions to the public schools in the state. Has Seyi Makinde forgotten free Education doesn't come freely? It needs a lot of sacrifice from the state government.

The lackadaisical attitude among students and teachers in public schools had returned back because the present administration Educational policies doesn't seem to instill disciple in the heart of teachers and students.

Dear Present administration, the hope of a common man is to get his wards ADEQUATE AND SOUND EDUCATION. Try to fulfill this because THE PAST CAN HUNT THE PRESENT.

Judgements on the decisions and inactions of the government should be tailored by looking at the surrounding realities and possible alternatives. If the situation is bad, the best is to provide workable solutions. Destructive criticisms can never solve it.

As a social commentator and politically active citizen, how do you channel your comments and opinions on government's performance — Destructive or solution-tailored?

Note that political affiliation is not a good ground to pass judgement as it is subjective and interest-based.

Oke-Ogun And Insecurity: A Call For Concern

Over the past few weeks, a lot has happened in various parts of Oyo State that clearly points to the condition of security the state has found itself. An average state citizen is well aware of the recent happenings, a rather appalling string of events that do not speak well of the way the state government has handled the state security. Oke-ogun continues to experience its own share of the security troubles. In a more conspicuous manner, the people of Oke-ogun must have been overwhelmed with the news of kidnappings, burglaries and killings in the town.

The first point of call is the porosity of the borders that surround the town. As it looks, there is a lot on that issue that could form a case in its entirety. An unsecured border makes anywhere vulnerable to attack and invasion. If it were to be in the centuries where men and governments fight for lands and territories, perhaps the town would have been dominated by invaders. Border security is a force on its own and if it combines with a host of other security issues, there will be rain of terror, just as we can see at this present time.

In what succeeded the intention of the south western states to build a personalised security network for the purpose of protecting lives and properties, the state established its own outfit to combine efforts with the Nigerian Police Force. Whether the Amotekun forces in the town have done as expected or not is subjected to the obvious evidence that stare right at us. The incessant cases of kidnappings and killings have lay bare the facts that are unequivocally admissible. The retreat of the police force, due to the protests that turned revenge, to stay in their offices and warm their chairs hasn't done any good either. While their non-interference may be justified to some extent, it is now clear the state needs the police, or at least the good ones.

On the part of the government's reactions to these daily doses of bone-wrecking news, the people have given a sincere verdict. And if the voice of the people is truly the voice of God, it can be said that God is not pleased. If things are not working, the best option is to find out why. It is clear the security measures and preparations in Oke-ogun are not effective enough to put a stop to the increasing deaths and kidnappings. Whether the government is seeing what people don't see or not, all points of view describe the government's efforts as low or nonexistent. And like we believe, God's voice is the people's.

By all means necessary, the government and its security agencies should find a way back to their thinking seat and look from the people's point of view. The security is weak. There's has to be a reason. The first priority is the people of the town and whatever threatens their existence is an enemy of the state. The government needs to do more and more as required to protect the people and confirm the reason why they were elected in the first place. The numbers of these cases are increasing and insecurity is moving it claws to other towns. Something needs to be done and the government needs to take up that responsibility.

It has gone wrong already and the government must recognise that reality. The major part of solving a problem is knowing it exists. As the people of Oke-ogun continues to breathe in the atmosphere of fear and terror while waiting for the dark clouds to pass, the question remains thus; if not now, then when?

SEYI MAKINDE AND HIS POPULIST IDEA: MENACING SECURITY THEATER(1)

Just as all Men are entitled to their own opinion, action and inaction, one should however be conscious of the consequences of their actions be it positive or negative, for we would sooner or later be accountable for whatever action we have taken, while nature in its sacrosanctity, cheats not! The proscription of NURTW that Birthed the present Park Management System is touted to be a best alternative to the existing status quo. Admittedly too, its said to be the only way Tranquility can be restored in Oyo State. Contrarily however, the development has been from Fire to Fry-pan.

Subject to the above-dropped, the power being saddled upon the political Comprados and the Political Agberos under the Leadership of Alh. Mukaila Lamidi (PKA) 'Auxiliary', an Ex Convict appointed as the Chairman of the Oyo State Park Management Disciplinary Board has not in any way improve the Security Architecture of the State. It was Argued that PMS Is Birthed as a result of the State Government initiatives to boost the Internally Generated Revenue but little or nothing has been accountable for over the years. The Power being vested in OSLA and his boys has increased the capacity of the mobs and provided them with more chances of exploitation in Oyo State. Just as their normal Chorus “OMO SEYI LAWA OO, AWA LOMO GOMINA” will rent the air whenever they start to perpetrate their evil acts. They intimidate, oppress, attack and deal unlawfully with anyone who revolt against their insane attitudes.

The Rhetoric thereby is, is the Governor the Father to all, or OSLA Boys alone? This is against the backdrop of the weak Security Architecture in Oyo State. As OSLA Boys keep Terrorizing the State Ditto the Mobs who believe that they are sons and daughters of the Governor and he has little or no capacity to deal with them.

In Furtherance to the above, Street Carnivals, Public Fights and Gangsterism have become the order of the day. The Question is, If the Governor and his Political Hallelujah Boys including the Mainstream Media has been bought, Should we all keep Quiet? Just as a Wise saying says and Adumbrated “The man in him died he who refuse to speak in the face of Tyranny”. Its high time the Governor Changes his Populist Ideology and take the Bull by the Horn. Its high time the Governor stop the Principle of Populism build upon Eye service and been loved alone without caring about the lives and Properties of the masse.

Oyo State Citizens welfare is a Sine-qua-non and not an option for the Governor to Protect. The Governor should Understand that the more he spare the rod the more he spoils the miscreants. The power being saddled upon OSLA and his Boys seems to be enormous that they can Tackle anyone they want.

Moving away from the Political Agbero, the Security Architecture in the State has failed woefully that one need to sleep and Keep one eyes Open and another off. We can't continue with this for long. As a responsive and Responsible Governor, its high time he switch into actions. The Security Vote are meant to Solve issues like this, Our Billionaire Governor should spend the Money as demanded. The menace of Kidnapping, Ransom Demand for Compensation have become the Trending topic of the day most Especially in Areas from Oke Ogun . If care is not taken, Oyo State is sitting on a Keg of Gunpowder waiting to explode in an Intonation. In Ogbeyo / Idode axis of Oyo town there are reports of some harboured crooks gathering up and setting up road blocks to extort people all in the name of owo ile. Just on South West Political Headquarter this morning on Fresh F.M,People started calling in and virtually everybody testified to fact that the security of this state is nothing to write home all about

Iwo road has turned to miscreants abode again, you can't move freely before 7am in d morning out of fear of been robbed

To cap it all, the Initiation of Operation Amotekun has however gone a long way in curbing the menace of Local conflict, and that is commendable, really. Why not swaying away from reality, the Governor should understand the fact that the more he pampers mobs, the more Crisis looms in Oyo State. If for anything, the previous administration did the little it could to avert unfortunate scenarios like this and Oyo State should not go back to Egypt as we have already been heading to Promised Land.

He who has Ears should listen to what the Spirit is telling the Church. If one can sat back and ask where the problem emanate from? One could concluded that the problem lies with the government !

Ever since the employed hoodlums start selling tickets at every junction without been scrutinized and no formal mode of operation for these crooks, things has changed. Its really shameful and very disheartening that the CSO of the pace setters state in less than 20months of his administration can not handle the security architecture effectively!

HOODLUMS AND THEIR INCESSANT GANGSTERISM IN OYO TOWN, A DEMAND FOR URGENT INTERVENTION

When silence is no more golden it turn to cowardness - Anonymous

Inhabitant of Oyo town have been experiencing a serious denial of peaceful living and economic well-being for good number of days now, and hitherto. The menace which is unconnected from the life-threatening hooliganism and vandalization of properties by the so called Hoodlums in the town. These illicit acts are no longer novel as these set of people from certain areas of the town have become notorious figures already.

The state of things in our dear town is not what we grown up to meet. Oyo town constitute the most peaceful and well coordinated part of the state over the years but not quite long it has become a town where priority is given to Mobs activities which has deteriorated Oyo Development.

The hoodlums attack for some days now are coming in another dimension which give room for set of miscreant to take over the major areas and commercial centers in the town. This however has affected the business activities and apparently the Mobs are using the avenue to rob and vandalize private and public properties.

Overtime, some of these guys had been arrested but to our surprises they will be realesed back in a short time.
The issue before the town is above what the community police, operation burst and local vigilante can handle, these gangs are much in number which varies from one community to another E. G (Iseke, Apaara, Ilaka and some other new areas are in the town), they operate with various equipment like Guns, cutlasses, axe, knifes etc.
The intervention of the community leaders had been fruitless over time which had make everyone to be looking on to God for help.
The act of this guys had generate lot of issues within the town, nobody is ready to look up to their faces when ever they started there war within the Constituency.
We know that only the government can intervene in this ongoing crisis within

ON THE ISSUE OF SARS AND THEIR ACTIVITIES: WHY THE PROBLEM MAY CONTINUE

The social media has been flooded with thoughts and opinions against the popular security outfit due to its prolonged activities categorized with violence and illegalities. These are mere opinions founded upon the feelings of the victims' troubles and experience in the hands of the personnel parading themselves as SARS officials. They are not absolute directives that will bring an end to the establishment of the security outfit neither will they affect it's operation. It is commendable nonetheless to see that Nigerians can stand up for one another in cases such as this.

Perhaps it is correct to say the last straw has divided the camel's back. But for how long will the Carmel stay broken? Will it not be the case that people will be healed of SARS troubles in the next few days, forgetting the idea that SARS officers are running riots? Like in times past where people would show passion for a drastic change but their aggressions would only go on for a few days before everything returns to normalcy. The abducted Chibok girls is a good example.

Interestingly, to support the pillar that births the idea that SARS operations may continue regardless of media outcries and the swift IGP directives, this is not the first time the Inspector General of Police would suspend the activities of the security outfit. It happened in 2017 when the former IGP Ibrahim Idris with the support of the current Vice President purportedly overhauled the activities of SARS. It now appears that the reforms didn't take any effect as same cases of human rights violations continue to pile up.

Whatever the case is, realities will reach the face of everyone in the coming days. Amidst the media hashtags calling for the complete removal of SARS from the government's security agencies, everyone patiently awaits if truly the recent directives will take a lasting effect or will die as the noises reduce. We can only hope that the government will take the best route to secure the rights and freedoms of citizens while also ensuring that frauds and illegal acts are punished.

THE PERILOUS NATURE OF DILAPIDATED ROAD NETWORK IN OYO TOWN:OUR CONCERN.

“What you do makes a difference. And you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.” –Jane Godall

It was a call to service when the appointment of Hon.Kamil Akinlabi ,former Member,House of Represnetative representing Oyo Federal Constituency as the Chairman, Oyo State Road Maintenance Agency (OYSTROMA). Indeed! It was a well deserving appointment as all looked up to the appointed as a man of calibre and timber. A very large numbers of Oyo Town Indigene were elated and jubilant thinking that a New Dawn will survey in Oyo Federal Constituency over the Dilapidated condition of Road in the Region .

The expectation took a U-turn when roads are being rehabilitated in most of other zones in the State neglecting the Chairman's Home town. The big questions arose "Was the Chairman unaware of the havoc some of the dipladiated roads in the town has caused?" or "Is the Process toward the Rehabilitation of Major Roads in Oyo Town intentionally being Delayed from the Power that be or why the delay in Launching the idead being launched by Mr Governor in Oyo Town also?"

It is undoubtedly to say that the major roads linking the four local government has nothing to write home about as at the Present moment. Following the tracks of history, Oyo has always been at the loosing end when it comes to infrastructural development despite the fact that the town has produced a Commisioner for Works, Yunus Akintunde who served under Late Isiaka Ajimobi, the Former Governor of Oyo State.Though this could upsurge so many controversies as regard the discharge of responsibility of the personality during his tenure, You can compare and contrast the rate of development in other zones with ours in Oyo.

We would get to a point where we cares about issues that matter. It is of no gainsay that lives are being put in risk because of the dilapidated state of major roads linking different parts in Oyo town. In the past, maintenance of roads was the major role successfully played by Local Government which are referred to as the Grassroot government but it is nothing to write about as misplace of priority has took over all the Local Government bosses in Oyo town as they see rehabilitation and maintenance of roads are no longer their responsibility. Who knew why they are living happy and large when the lives of their citizens are being Put in Risk on Daily Basis.

Without Caring Whose Ox is Gored,it's high time that the OYSROMA Chairman jeered up his activeness and do well to To focus more on the development of his own people and his Town when he is Chance. Acceptance comes with Responsibility they said. Joining thousands to commit the Fallacy of Argumentum ad Populum will never survey in this Write-up. The Governor has appointed you to serve the whole Oyo State and to that end your home Town shouldn't be at the loosing end.

We are also and that's why we are being addressed with the Title "Ajisebi Oyo Laari. As far as the Issue of the Road Network in Oyo is concerned compared to other Zones this old adage appears more like a Ruse.

Moving Beyond that,it's high time the Local Government Chairmen understand the Very sensitive position each and everyone of them are being Placed. As Anonymous once said and I adumbrated "Things are being attained by men with extraordinary mentalities". It's high time the Local Government Caretaker Chairmen understand the risk posed by Bad roads Network and Collapsed Bridges around Us.

For Months Now,The Bridges that link Pakoyi has been in a Deteriorating Condition. The only thing one could see is a "SAKAMANJE" BillBoard Inscribing it that People shouldn't move in that Area Again. As far as the condition of the Bridge is concerned,it is within the Jurisdiction of Oyo West Local Government to do something to it. The Chairman of the Local in Person of Honourable Akeem Olukubiti should deem it fit in addressing the issue of the said Bridge before it begin to Claim lives. You don't start running politics of Populism after the Bridge claim innocent lives. You are the No1 citizen of the said Local Government and you should act as such.

Furthermore,as far as the Issue of Dilapidated Road Network and Bridges appears to be in a Serious Peculiar-mess,the Local Government Chairmen in each LGA should understand that it's time to reason in the motto of Ogun State "ISE YA". Publicity stunts and fighting trying to run Helter Skelter in order to win the Upcoming LGA Election isn't the Way out. Arisé ni Aríka,Arìka ní Babà Iregun. You should all take Responsibility in each of your LGA as a Former American President,George Washington asserted that "Man make event, events make History and History in turn makes Man".

In Conclusion,The Aforementioned Local Government Caretaker Chairman can do well to complement the efforts of the State Government,OYSTROMAas well as the Ministry of works and Transport. individuals like Honourable Akeem Olukitibi(Oyo West Local Government Caretaker Chairman), Honourable Fatai Okunlola Obabi (Oyo Southwest Local Council Development Area), Honourable Arowosaye Saheed (The Caretaker Chairman,Oyo East Local Government), Honourable Yunusa (Oyo SouthEast Local Council Development Area), Honourable Akinkimumi and Honourable Olunloyo of ATIBA Local Government and Sooro Local Council Development Area and Honourable Okeleye Joseph and Honourable Akindele Sunday of Afijio West LCDA should stand up to this Clarion Call. Roads are part of the very essential Social amenities a Society must have to aid their Development and Progress. If these are inevitable,Those in mantle of power should take Responsibility and be Accountable.
