ABLE VOICE
Raising and speaking for children with disabilities
09/06/2026
A child can smile, play, go to school everyday and still carry struggles that nobody sees.
For children with special needs, growth comes with experiences that influence their emotions, confident, interactions and general wellbeing.
However we often do not speak about their mental health, what emotional well being looks like for them and how we can support them
Every child deserves more than just food physical health, they deserve joy, belonging and peace of mind too
Join us this June for an eye opening webinar on; Mental Health and Well-being of Children with Special Needs

Understanding a child goes beyond seeing their disability.
Some children are fighting battles that cannot be seen. They may experience frustration, anxiety, loneliness, or low self-esteem, yet their struggles often go unnoticed.
The more we understand their emotional world, the better equipped we are to support them.
This June, Able Voice will be hosting a webinar that will address this matter.

What do you expect from a child born with spina bifida and raised in an orphanage?
Do you expect something great from such a person?
Many people, if they will be honest, would quietly say βNo.β
Not because it is true, but because society has been trained to see disability and difficult beginnings as limitations.
But todayβs story challenges that thinking.
Tatyana McFadden was born with spina bifida and raised in an orphanage.
From the very beginning, life placed her in a situation many would call βtoo difficult.β
But her story did not end there, it only started there.
She found strength in movement. She found purpose in challenge. And she turned wheels into victory.
Today, she stands as one of the most decorated Paralympic athletes in the world, breaking records and proving that greatness is not determined by where you start in life.
Her story reminds us that:
β Oneβs beginning is not their conclusion. A difficult start does not cancel a great future.
β Do not judge potential by condition. Do not measure destiny by background.
See differently and expect greatness from them.
At Able Voice, we continue to challenge the way the world sees children with disabilities because potential does not disappear where struggle exists.
Happy weekend.
