Our client is looking to hire a Sales Manager whose responsibilities will be to manage company sales, goals, and profitability in consultation with the Sales Head. The Sales Manager manages the sale of the company's products and services in defined geographical areas. To ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenue through planning, deployment, and management of sales personnel.
Responsibilities:
Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
Duties include the following, measurable in terms of time, cost, quality, or quantity.
To deal with customer grievances and follow-up with technical team for resolution and various customer trials analysis and support.
To coordinate with internal and external parties at the appropriate levels to ensure a smooth flow of interaction and transaction.
Sales Growth Targets: To ensure Sales Targets are achieved as per assigned product and region/key accounts wise through managing the effective sales strategy and follow-up to ensure accomplishment of sales operational plans.
To develop dealer networks in each state as per assigned territory/region and promote them for higher coverage in the assigned state.
Customer Relationship: To develop a good customer base, manage customer relations, facilitate business managers/sales head to organize various business meets/seminars to boost customer intimacy.
Budget - To prepare and recommend sales budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget to ensure business alignment.
To monitor stock inventories in alignment with the budget and re-order level for the product as well as packaging.
Job Description
The General Manager will be responsible for design, development, and coordinating of the company’s operations, production, value adding activities. He/she will ensure that output is commensurate with inputs, agreed targets and established standards.
Responsibilities
1. Manage all staff of the company and report directly to the CEO. 2. Supervise day-to-day activity, organize rosters and schedule tasks/plans that need to be undertaken. Such plans may include but not limited to:
- Plantation Management Plan
- Stocking Plan
- Assets and Equipment Maintenance Plan
- Staffing Plan
- Raw Materials Procurement Plan
3. Recruit and select staff
4. Maintain employment records.
5. Ensure that health and safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to.
6. Ensure new staff are inducted and aware of company policies and are given role clarity.
7. Optimize utilization of the company’s production facilities.
8. Ensure the production line is constantly aligned and effectively managed to meet targets and customer needs.
9. Ensure that performance is constantly monitored against clearly established, defined and communicated operational performance indicators.
10. Ensure that all factory activities operate within the best environmental guidelines.
11. Design, implement and ensure continuous monitoring of programs and measures to:
- Improve price monitoring and forecast.
- Minimize product damage and losses due to poor handling.
- Reduce on-going expenditure on factory asset maintenance and repairs.
- Operational information and records management.
12. Manage and lead the following processes on behalf of the company:
- Health, Safety, Environmental and Community Relations.
- Communicating and enforcing compliance with government regulations governing farming and agro allied activities.
- Production and dissemination of factory operations reports.
- Definition and continuous improvement of the company production processes.
- Farming equipment selection and factory project development.
13. Build and strengthen the capacity of the company’s operation team by:
- Conducting an annual review of staff performance (at least once a year for all staff).
- Continually assessing the capability of the team to deliver on agreed outcomes.
- Providing leadership that inspires others to succeed, develop and proactively share experience, knowledge and ideas.
- Coaching and counseling team members as necessary
Manage all accounting transactions
Prepare budget forecasts
Publish financial statements in time
Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
Ensure timely bank payments
Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
Audit financial transactions and documents
Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
Comply with financial policies and regulations

The Factory Supervisor reports Daily activities to the consultant and coordinate company’s operations, production, value adding activities. He will ensure that output is commensurate with inputs, agreed targets and established standards.
