In celebration of the International Day of the Girl Child, the Rebecca Ibikunle Foundation visited Egoli School, Owerri, to inspire and educate the amazing young girls!

We spoke about menstrual hygiene, personal hygiene, self-confidence, and understanding good touch vs. bad touch — equipping them with knowledge, courage, and self-worth.

Because when a girl is informed, she shines brighter💪🏽

We were live at Ukwuezi primary school Orogwe in Imo state owerri where we distributed books, pens and pencils to kids. We were told there is an exceptional child in the school who lacked some basic amenities which we provided ….

During our Back-to-School Support Project visit to Community School Mbieri, we witnessed a heartbreaking reality of neglect and abandonment. The Head Mistress’s emotional plea for assistance to renovate the school was more than words—it was a cry for hope. 💔
No child should be forced to learn in broken classrooms or in an environment that stifles their potential. These students deserve more—they deserve dignity, inspiration, and a safe place to dream. 🌟
We are calling on compassionate hearts to join us in restoring this school. Every donation, every hour volunteered, and every voice raised matters. Together, we can rebuild, restore, and revive Community School Mbieri, giving these children the future they deserve.
