Delta State Police Command posted this on their official X handle, warning people against 'indecent dressing,' using a woman to illustrate what indecent dressing looks like because women are often the target of such laws.

The Imo State VAPP law of 2021, like Delta State's, criminalizes indecent dressing. The problem with that section of VAPP is that the definition of 'indecent dressing' is vague, which allows for multiple interpretations and leaves people vulnerable to human rights abuses.
