2. Scope of Work — Defines exactly what will be done, including limitations and exclusions.

4. Materials — Identifies the materials required and their approved specifications.

5. Tools & Equipment — Establishes the machinery, hand tools, testing equipment and safety equipment needed.

6. Manpower — Defines the personnel required, including engineers, supervisors, surveyors, QA/QC personnel, safety officers and workers.

8. Quality Control — Establishes inspection checklists, testing requirements, tolerances and acceptance criteria.

9. Safety Requirements — Addresses PPE, risk assessment, emergency procedures and permit-to-work requirements where applicable.

10. Environmental Controls — Considers issues such as dust, noise, waste and spill prevention.

11. Inspection & Testing — Defines how often inspections and tests will be carried out, the test methods and who is responsible.

12. Records & Documentation — Ensures that reports, inspection requests, test results, checklists and material approvals are properly documented.

Why does this matter?
