Our campaign, "Kicking Off the Dialogue on Menstrual Health – Engage for Change," is in full swing throughout May in honor of World Menstrual Day.
Why "Engage for Change"? Because millions of women and girls worldwide are still held back from realizing their full potential due to inadequate support in managing menstruation. This impacts us all negatively, and we firmly believe it's time for change.

We envision a world where menstruation doesn't hinder anyone's progress by 2030. But achieving this requires more than just words – it demands action. We need more people engaged, more voices advocating for change, and more support for initiatives that ensure access to quality products, information, and education materials.

Responding appropriately to women's menstrual health needs in emergencies should be essential for any humanitarian response.

When women and adolescent girls’ menstrual health needs are not met, they face numerous difficulties managing their periods and experience increased feelings of shame and discomfort.

As we celebrate the progress made in advancing women's rights, we must also recognize the persistent challenges that continue to hinder equality. I am very privileged as I work with great women around the world, fighting period poverty. Together we bring solutions like , and to millions of girls and women who still do not have access to good quality menstrual products... and so our mission continues as we are determined to change the status quo and to eliminate period poverty.

🏆 Celebrating Success with Team Safepad

We are thrilled to announce that Team Safepad from Imo State has emerged victorious in the United Nations Global Goal World Cup (GGWCUP) Nigeria edition. The tournament, aimed at ending girl-child absenteeism in school and promoting uninterrupted education, saw 20 teams competing across the federation.

Playing for Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4, which focuses on quality education, Team SafePad secured a well-deserved second position. The GGWCUP is not just a football tournament; it's a platform where teams champion specific SDGs, ranking them based on both on and off-field actions.

Team SafePad wins United Nations Global Goal World Cup TEAM SafePad has won the United Nations Global Goal World Cup (GGWCUP), which was organised to end girl-child absenteeism in school and promote uninterrupted education.
