God of Wonders and Perfection!

A while ago, I read something about how men are becoming “real princesses” while women are becoming more masculine. 🥱
And honestly, it made me think: if I have to be the masculine one in my relationship, why do I still need you?😂
Do you see why these women are quitting?🤷🏽‍♀️

I mean,I want to be a princess too. I want to be pursued, cared for, protected, and be able to lean on your strength. I don’t want to always be the strong one,the leading one,the responsible one,the bigger person with all that emotional intelligence.Nope.🙂‍↔️
I’m going to need you to be emotionally available for a relationship,man.😊

What’s fascinating is that, in many species, the male is the one doing the pursuing. Male deer fight for access to females. Peacocks display their feathers. Birds-of-paradise perform elaborate dances. The male often has to prove himself while the female chooses.

Of course, the animal kingdom isn’t uniform, and humans aren’t animals in the sense that biology dictates our relationships. But the contrast is interesting: in many species, the male competes to be chosen. In modern human dating, we’ve increasingly normalized women competing to be chosen by men.😏

So when did the prize change hands?🥱😟

And please, don’t tell me that providing, protecting, pursuing, and caring for your woman makes you less masculine or a simp.

Real strength gives a woman somewhere safe to rest.It takes her off of survival mode.

Sadly, some men would rather be catered to than tend to their women.😌And some who do provide turn it into a transaction or a tool for control.

So,a woman can bring her own strength into a relationship;respect, loyalty, emotional partnership, peace, encouragement, care, accountability, affection and intimacy, and still be expected to carry the responsibilities that are traditionally considered the man’s? 😩😂

At what point does that stop being partnership and become one person carrying the relationship?

It’s a strange kingdom we’re living in. 😂
