COVID-19: Lagos discharges 7 more COVID-19 patients ON APRIL 11, 2020

The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Professor Akin Abayomi, yesterday announced the discharge of seven more COVID-19 patients from the iInfectious Disease Hospital, IDH, isolation Centre, Yaba even as the state recorded another unfortunate death from the disease in a private hospital.
The new discharge brings the total number of recovery cases in the state to 46 while active cases still remains 111 and number . Announcing these on his twitter handle- , the commissioner stated: “Additional 7 COVID19 patients who have fully recovered have been discharged after testing negative twice. Right pointing backhand indexTotal number of patients discharged in Lagos State is now 46.
“We are however saddened by the death of another patient from related complications in a private hospital in Lagos. Please keep obeying rules to ,” the commissioner stated.

(Breaking) Nigeria records 17 new cases of coronavirus
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, reported seventeen new cases of COVID-19. The body gave the breakdown as follows: eight in Lagos; three in Katsina; two in FCT and one each in Niger, Kaduna, Anambra and Ondo.
As at 9:30 p.m. on Friday, the total number of COVID-19 cases are now 305 in Nigeria. 58 have been discharged with seven deaths.
The current spread across the nation is Lagos, 163; FCT, 56; Osun, 20; Edo, 12; Oyo, 11; Bauchi, six; Akwa Ibom, five; Ogun, seven; Kaduna, six; two in Enugu, Ekiti, Rivers, Kwara, Delta and Ondo. Others are Katsina, 4 and one each in Benue, Niger, and Anambra. Three COVID-19 cases previously included as Lagos State cases have been transferred to Ogun State. The three cases live in satellite towns in Ogun close to Lagos. Therefore, Lagos State has reported 163 confirmed COVID-19 cases, while Ogun State has reported seven confirmed cases.

UPDATED: Nigeria records 14 new cases of COVID-19, total rises to 288
By David Royal Nigeria has recorded 14 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 288, with 51 patients discharged and 7 deaths recorded.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC announced the new development on Thursday night via its Twitter handle. “Fourteen new cases of have been reported in Nigeria: 13 in Lagos and 1 in Delta State As at 09:30 pm 9th April there are 288 confirmed cases of reported in Nigeria. Fifty-one have been discharged with seven deaths” “As at 09:30 pm 9th April there are 288 confirmed cases of reported in Nigeria. Fifty-one have been discharged with seven deaths. “Yesterday, we erroneously reported 2 new cases in Bauchi. Following further review, we can confirm that these were repeat tests for previously confirmed cases.
