"The name of the game is Action"...a topic i found useful in the book "how to draw comics the marvel way".
The art of exaggerating the action, stretching the figure into a forced motion makes the experience more dramatic..this is also a technique i try to adopt more from mike mattesi's force lectures...rate the progress thus far

Can't believe its been more than 5 years i did this art and many others with my very small android phone (tecno spark 3) and a locally made stylus pen with cotton wool and cable wires on ibis paint app. I didnt come this far to give up, i belive better days are coming and will certainly thank God ithat i didnt give up.

PART 2
Once the foundation is laid (gesture), you now have a clear view of what you want to achieve. Now proceed to refining and fleshing your Mannequin into simpler details . Again dont be afraid to make changes and adjustments...notice how the perspective of the first panel changed ...the gestural representation of the building was done in a worm eye view(see PART 1)...to me it was hidden way too much with only the upper region of the building showing...so i wanted to change it into a medium shot to be able to read the environments because that is a sorcerer's domain( further details and colors will describe more)...also its important to indicate the best place to add your speech balloon in this stage . (TO BE CONTINUED)

PART 1..
One thing we all artists can agree on is that consuming alot of tutorial articles be it videos or articles can be very tedious most times, in contrast it applies to the saying that goes "if i had 10 hours to chop down a tree, i will have all 8 hours sharpening my chopping tool"(my fancy way of saying them though😁)..this is because its way lot easier once your tool is set, you can gladly swing along its bases ...fun fact it might not take you up to 2 long hours to cut this fu**ing tree ...its better than hovering a blunt cutlass for a whole 10hours?🤣🤣...give ne a break 10 hours?😅, thats a lot in my opinion.....lets leave the cutting of trees for the Arborists they have a better device😅🤣..what am trying to say is its better to hone your skills no matter the time it takes you before proceeding to producing a quality product for the public..remember a client is attracted to how good your work is..no matter how long and tidious they may seem..mehn am much of a motivational speaker 😅🤠..well we are cooking behind the schene, its gonna be a journey and i would love you to follow us along on the long run...this is a page in the action comic seried we are working on, here is a gestural stage where you have to doddle your ideas to life based on the script or should i say writter's panel to panel descriptions...just go lossy until you have layed down the foundation of your illustration...this is the first stage and you shouldn't be afraid to make changes if it looks odd to what you intended.....(To be continued..)

Seriously...many of the artists find it disheartening ro read art related books in general to help hone their skills, me too to be honest gets discouraged when i see over 200 pages of art textbooks. The urge and anxiety to start creating caresses the mind and blinds the necessity to get better in order to earn better...because obviously no one will hier an amatuer to a pro....this phobia has been a battle for me and i hope we fight it together.
