SHARKS DON'T HAVE BONE!!
Yes, it’s true!
Sharks don’t have bones— instead, their skeletons are made of cartilage, the same flexible material found in your nose and ears.
Also— Sharks never stop growing!
Unlike most animals, they continue to grow throughout their entire lives, meaning the older they get, the bigger they become.
Some species can even live for hundreds of years...
Wonders!!!
Did you know?
There are more stars in the universe than grains of sand on all the beaches on Earth—but that’s not the crazy part.
The real astonishing fact is that some of those stars are so far away that the light we see from them tonight started its journey millions of years ago!
When you look up at the night sky, you’re actually looking back in time.
It’s like peering through a window into a time far beyond Adam and his missing rib.
Wonders!!!

Meet the Glass Frog, a.k.a Mr Transparent
Found in Central and South American rainforests, this tiny frog has skin so transparent, you can see its organs.
Imagine staring through this frog’s delicate skin, watching its heart pulse, its organs working—no special effects, no magic, just reality.
Why the see-through skin?
Scientists think it’s nature’s camouflage, helping the frog blend into the leaves it rests on. It’s like wearing an invisibility cloak—only, this one’s made of skin.

Let’s talk about calculations in Chemistry today.
I’m not sure whether I would agree that calculations in Chemistry are more complex than those in Physics, but I can confidently say that Chemistry calculations can be less complex and easily understood if you do these things.
First, understand the basics of Chemistry. You shouldn't rush into a battle without knowing what you’re up against.
Chemistry is all about CPSU—Composition, Properties, Structure, and Uses of Matter. This is a major concept to grasp because if you understand what anything on this Earth is made of, you can better comprehend its properties, structure, and uses. The foundation of Chemistry is understanding what things are made of—their composition.
This composition is broken down into three segments, each represented by an acronym.
Here’s a simple breakdown:
ECM: Every type of matter is either an Element (E), a Compound (C), or a Mixture (M).
AMI: These elements, compounds, or mixtures are made up of Atoms (A), Molecules (M), or Ions (I).
PEN: Inside these, you’ll find the subatomic particles—Protons (P), Electrons (E), and Neutrons (N).
You need to understand how these nine components—element, compound, mixture, atom, molecule, ion, proton, electron, and neutron—work together, how they are intertwined, and how they collaborate. This is the foundation from which all Chemistry calculations are derived.
To build a strong foundation in Chemistry, study and grasp these basics. Everything else flows from this understanding.

MOSQUITOES
Mosquitoes are commonly known as vectors for malaria. Female mosquitoes are the ones who bite, they bite mainly for reproduction. This is because they need protein for developing their eggs, while the male mosquitoes feed on nectars of plants and flowers.
Mosquitoes bite people for various reasons, and sometimes it seems like they bite some people more than others. Here are few of the reasons why they do so;
-Mosquitoes prefer certain blood types; people with blood types O and AB are more attractive to mosquitoes.
-Mosquitoes are attracted to carbon dioxide; The more you exhale the more attractive you become, but please you can still breathe.
-Mosquitoes are attracted to body heat; They are good at sensing a slight change in temperature.
-Mosquitoes like sweat; Mosquitoes can perceive sweat, and they like the compounds contained in the sweat.
-Mosquitoes can spot darker clothes quickly; this makes you easier to spot if you're on dark clothes.
With all this being said, it is best to prevent the presence of mosquitoes in our home, to make it a safer place to stay.
-You have to get rid of any stagnant water that's not in use for more than 3 days.
-Make sure there are no excess grasses around, and if there is, it should be low.
-Use insect repellents
-Plants like lemon grass also repels insects

Did you know that there are over 400 types of phobias?
A phobia is an anxiety disorder that involves excessive or persistent fear of a situation or object. Exposure to the source of fear triggers and immediate anxiety response.
Symptoms of the phobia can include trembling, rapid heartbeat, feeling of unreality, and being preoccupied by the fear objects.
Here are a few common phobias and what they mean
Acrophobia: Fear of heights
Aerophobia: Fear of flying
Agoraphobia: Fear of open spaces or crowds
Bathmophobia: Fear of stairs or steep slopes
Belonephobia: Fear of pins and needles
Catagelophobia: Fear of being ridiculed
Cynophobia: Fear of dogs
Elurophobia: Fear of cats
Glossophobia: Fear of speaking in public
Gynophobia: Fear of women
Hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia: Fear of long words
Hydrophobia: Fear of water
Koumpounophobia: Fear of buttons
Mageirocophobia: Fear of cooking
Necrophobia: Fear of death or dead things
Noctiphobia: Fear of the night
Ombrophobia: Fear of rain
Philophobia: Fear of love
Phobophobia: Fear of phobias
Scoptophobia: Fear of being stared at
Thalassophobia: Fear of the ocean
Tonitrophobia: Fear of thunder
Xenophobia: Fear of strangers or foreigners
Zoophobia: Fear of animals
To overcome your fears,
You have to breathe through panic.
Visualize a happy place.
Face your fears

GECKO'S ( Tarentola Chazaliae )
Geckos, also known as wall geckos, are animals of the phylum reptilia, in short, reptiles. Yoruba call it omonile ( owner of the house) because, most times, it is found in the house, but the geckos like warmth, water, and a place to hide. That's why most times they are found in the house.
The following are other facts about the gecko's
1. They can stick to any surface; They can do this because their toes have nanoscale hairs known as setae ( nanoscale, meaning they are very tiny and can not be seen with the naked eye). The nanoscale hairs line the toes in huge numbers.
2. Their eyes are 350 times more sensitive to light than human eyes; They are nocturnal and particularly well adapted to hunting in the dark. That means they see better in the dark than us.
3. Geckos can produce various sounds for communication; they make sounds such as barks, chirps, and clicks to communicate with their fellow geckos
4. Most geckos can detach or regrow their tail; Sometimes they detach their tail willingly. it might be from the action of escaping from predators, using it as a form of distraction.
5. Geckos use their tails to store fats and nutrients for lean time; excess nutrients from their food are stored most times in their tails to serve them when there's no hope of food.
6. Geckos have a long life; They can live for about 4-5 years if they are in the wild. But when they are tended to they can live for 10-20 years.
7. Most gecko species don't have eyelids; to keep their eyes clean, they lick them with their tongue ( they are not actually licking their eyes; they are licking the transparent membrane that covers the eyeball ) .
8. They mostly feed on insects or bugs, they aren't venomous or
poisonous

Did you know that
beans are packed with more carbohydrates than protein?
It’s a common misunderstanding that beans are a rich source of protein.
In reality, beans have a higher starch content than you might expect.
For example, beans contain about 29% carbohydrates, while rice has just 28.5%. So, when you're enjoying a plate of rice and beans, you're consuming more carbohydrates than you might realize.
Don't get discouraged! Beans are not just about carbohydrates.—they also offer valuable nutrients.
They are rich in tryptophan and methionine, essential amino acids that play a crucial role in brain function.
So, while beans might be higher in carbohydrates, they still contribute to a balanced diet by supporting your brain health.
