Now we’re selling experienced players , the exact type we should be adding to the squad. Cucurella wasn’t just important on the pitch; off it, he seemed to have that hilarious energy and bonded with everyone. How do you even replace that? With another “potential” kid?

Can’t even blame the lad. Enzo and Cucurella looked completely gutted when Maresca got sacked.

These owners have a mountain to climb. They need to protect Alonso at all costs. And the reality is, ready-made players don’t exactly seem eager to join us right now, so recruitment has to be spot on.
