What you carry will announce your parents to the world.
Know who you are. Walk in it. Don't disappoint or shame your parents.
Rise up! Pray more than you can play.

The fact you don't know a person is because you haven't paid very close attention to their words.
Also note this: The fact that you know or has known someone's habit/character doesn't give you the right or reason to judge/convict them around.
